Nice hotel, great staff, rooms are perfectly fine, clean, attractive, all you need. Locations fine so long as you are prepared to explore further away.

Business hotel near convention centre and university of Hamburg. Good size room for Europe, with comfy (and slightly soft bed) and not too big pillows. Modern bathroom with good shower stall. Good work desk and good internet connectivity. Breakfast has a solid choice of options. About 5-7 minutes walk from nearest u-bahn station.

Location is great to explore the Schanzenviertel and St. Pauli, hotel also is in great condition, rooms are clean and look new. Reason for my average rating is the non-functioning AC, ultimately I’m coming to sleep and this was difficult due to the heat on the top floors I have called the front desk, someone came, made some changes on the thermostat and mentioned it is fixed. Unfortunately this was not the case.

Great hotel near the Hamburg Mitte!
We stay at the Mercure Hamburg Mitte every year for the WTCE show. I put up 18 of my team. While the rooms are small, they are efficient and the staff is wonderful. Feels like home.

I loved everything about this hotel (staff, location, rooms - the view is amazing), except for the fact that the only amenities they have are breakfast and a late night bar with no food.

My team stayed at the Mercure Mitte for the WTCE airline show. I can say enough positive comments about the staff. Efficient, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and just genuinely trying to make sure are stay was a wonderful experience.

Good for the conference centre.
Hotel is in a good location, rooms were ok, a little on the small side. The hotel is more geared up for the single business traveller (very convenient for the exhibition centre) that it is for couples. Breakfast was good. Not sure about the night shift security, when we can back late one evening we just walked in unchallenged. 7/10 overall.

Great Hotel Near Hamburg Messe
Excellent services and professional staff. You have all the basic comfort from the room, I appreciate a lot having the tea bags and electric kettle in-room. Bed is comfortable. Location excellent for those who needs to work at the Messe Hamburg for fairs and exhibitions.

New hotel with everything in a central location!
Central location in Hamburg near lots of Restaurants and transportation! Modern hotel with a bar and some food offered 24 hours. Very friendly staff and a nice room with a good shower. Only downside is the synthetic bedding which others have mentioned. I much prefer real down as it doesn’t overheat you.

I was kept awake by the clanging and clunking of the lifts on the first night and they changed and upgraded my room the second night. However, even there the noise of slamming doors etc was annoying.

Nice hotel in a good location with really comfy beds. After arriving there was an announcement to evacuate the building. The police and firemen turned up. Obviously, if there is a safety issue this can't be helped. However, don't think the staff handled it that well - they didn't tell us anything about what was going on and I believe they were telling people not to take pictures which feels a bit odd like they want to cover something up. Apart from that, it's a perfectly good hotel.

Clean modern hotel about a 6 minute walk to two underground stations. The hotel is opposite the TV tower in Hamburg and is only a 2-3 stops on the underground into the centre of town. Hotel has a nice bar which is not expensive, staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in a pretty good location. Our only complaint was that our first night there the AC did not seem to be working, so we had to sleep with the window open. The street below is very noisy all night -- traffic and trains constantly going by. We did not sleep well unfortunately... a little better the second night when the AC seemed to be working more properly. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! Very nice breakfast and bar/restaurant. Room is small but clean. Shower was very good!

Long weekend in Hamburg
Stayed here for the third time. Convenient for where we needed to be. Good buffet breakfast, but the selection is the same every day. Within walking 8 minutes walk of three U-bahn stations. Also convenient for bus 4/5 and 35.

Lovely Stay
Loved staying at the Mercure Mitte in Hamburg, Germany. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was awesome, and service was excellent. The WiFi, however, could be better.

Christmas Market trip
Have to say that the Hotel is perfectly located should you wish to see the centre of Hamburg. Cant fault the Hotel at all. The staff were all amazing , the rooms just right for a short trip . All in all a super time

Overpriced and average
This hotel is ok just for somewhere to sleep, it's a 10 min walk from the underground station so quite easy to get to. The reception staff are lovely and helpful, however the bar service isn't good. I gave up waiting to order (I was the only customer waiting) and walked around looking for a supermarket to get food and drinks instead. The rooms are small and very basic but again, fine just for somewhere to sleep. The only problem is they have really small duvets (and no extra bedding) so you have to turn up the noisy heating. This isn't ideal when it's minus 2 degrees in Hamburg. This would be fine for a "budget" hotel, but at €110+ per night I think it's a big overpriced. However, I don't think you would find a better hotel for this price close to the centre of Hamburg!
