“It's all here”

Recently I stayed at the Cambridge Suites Hotel in downtown Halifax. The hotel was clean with great ammenities, breakfast was above and beyond each morning. Location makes it easy to get around Halifax. I have no reservation about reccomending this location to the business / pleasure traveller.

“great stay for business and fun”

Gorgeous room with a view of the Citadel. The most comfortable hotel bed of all time. Lovely linens and a duvet. Soft fluffable pillows. Great TV. Nice in-room amenities like work table with wi-fi, coffee table, microwave, sink, etc. The hotel restaurant is excellent both for dining in and room service, and the morning continental breakfast is super. The staff are fast, knowledgeable and very friendly. The exercise room/jacuzzi and sauna on the glassed-in rooftop are top-notch! I hope to return many times. Thank you for a wonderful stay at a great price.

“Goodtimes in Halifax”

We had a wonderful view of citadel hill and were in the downtown core, making everything accessible. It was a great time at great hotel.

“Great Location”

Hotel is right downtown Halifax. Can walk to any location. Parking is difficult anywhere in Halifax so this is a great place to park the car and just walk to where you want to visit or eat. Nice rooms with fridge and microwave. Great continental breakfast in morning. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating.

I was a bit skeptical after reading reviews on this hotel and others in the area. We were in Halifax for one night and we wanted to stay close to the harbour. I am very pleased with our stay at the Cambridge and I would not hesitate to go back again. We had a problem with the bathtub draining and we called the front desk, it was quite late in the evening, about 1030 pm. They sent someone up right away, he fixed the problem right then. All in all very helpful staff and highly recommended.

“Overall great experience”

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Cambridge Suites in late July 2010. The room was very spacious and clean. It also had a mini kitchenette, which we did not use, but could be quite convenient. I found the bed to be a little soft, but that is really personal preference. The hotel is conveniently located. We were able to walk to the nearby restaurants, attractions and to the waterfront. The only thing is that Halifax is built on an incline/hill, so it was easy to go down to the water, but a bit of a climb to return to our hotel. Overall, we had a great experience, and would definitely consider the Cambridge Suites for our next stay in Halifax.

“Great breakfast”

The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it is a suites hotel it does not have anywhere to cook. The bathroom is small but adequate. The workout room had all the equipment that you need for a comprehensive workout; and there is an adjacent rooftop patio with a great view of the city. The breakfast was more than satisfactory.
