Convenient Clean Hotel and close to the WaterfrontPosted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Staff and the convenient location
Location: Close to the Waterfront, restaurants, University , Gardens and other historical attractions
Although we arrived more than 2 hours before normal check-in time, our room was ready and we got to relax a bit before heading to the Waterfront, providing us with an earlier start to vacation. Convenient location and very clean. Most of all love the idea of an environmentally friendly hotel that will ensure a "Green bin" and organic soaps are available. Friendly staff who readily provided the seemingly small but appreciated services, like assistance with booking Bus Tours and airport coach Enjoyed my stay and will return to Cambridge Suites without hesitation

Good location.Posted 10-Sep-2014
Cons: Breakfast selection
Comfortable and clean. In order to improve I think it would be beneficial to provide a better continental breakfast.

Central for everything in HalifaxPosted 5-Sep-2014
Cons: For the cost I thought it excellent value.
Location: Great location, just one block away are the excellent Thai restaurant Chabaa, and the equally good Tom`s Little Havana Café on Doyle,
We had 6 nights in the Cambridge suits and it was excellent. Central to everything and walking distance to the university, shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good and facilities like the gym and sauna really useful. We will definitely be back on all our future visits to Halifax.

Very cleanPosted 4-Sep-2014
Pros: very clean, beautiful decor, very comfy, close to many things downtown.
Cons: bigger selection at breakfast.
Location: extremely close to citadel hill. not far from discovery center, and about a five minute walk to waterfront. many shops and restaurants/pubs around.
hotel was very clean, and staff were eager to answer our questions and helpful when we needed things sent up to the room. our room was perfect - very clean and very cozy. only complaint would be that we could sometimes hear other guests in the hallway, and we were close to the ice machine, which was quite noisy - and to be honest, you'll get that anywhere. breakfast was nice - nothing spectacular but tasty and fresh. hotel is also within walking distance of many downtown attractions and is right across from citadel hill. overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly go back again.

Hotel close to everything in downtown HalifaxPosted 3-Sep-2014
Cons: remove room service surcharge
Location: Spring Garden Road waterfront some good restauants excellent Victorian public gardens
Our first experience in 2012 was excellent. Our August 2014 left a lot to be desired. The parking was inadquate. The cleaning staff were noisey before 7:00 AM! Most disappointing was the small tag placed on the pillow indicating a surcharge of $23.00 PER DAY, unless the tag was filled out indicating "no service" and then placed on the outside door handel before 2:00 AM. It seems bean counters are taking over the world. When one pays their prices one expects commensurate services.
