“Very Nice Hotel”
The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel facilities were so inclusive that we never left the premises for two days. Good restaurants, live music, casino, pool, and bars were all enjoyable. The hotel shuttle was a real bonus.

“Guayaquil Colon does not disappoint.”
I was very pleased with my stay and the willingness of the satff to assist us on numerous occasions. The hotel rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The internet service in the room and the business center was great; it was just like logging on from home. The hotel pool was lovely; the gym and spa were really nice. The massage at the spa was great; we needed it after 8 days hiking in the Galapagos. We stayed at this hotel two days before our Galapagos trip, and also visited when we got back. The free hotel shuttle was very convenient.
“Very nice hotel”
I recently attended a company meeting. I found the management and staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Used the Hilton Meeting services for the meeting and have only good things to say. Nice meeting rooms, staff very professional, everything on time, Wifi, equipment, lunch, everything very good. I liked the Executive Club Floor, good service, nice view, great pool & GYM 24 hours access, great idea, all over a very positive experience. Very nice Hilton Hotel!!
“Well managed hotel”
My wife and I attended a family reunion and stayed at the Hilton. Good location, near the airport and the best shopping malls. The room was beautifully appointed and very spacey. We had a family dinner at the Portofino Restaurant and the Chef went out of his way to prepare a very special menu for us. The pool area is beautiful. We also tried the Elements SPA, with Pegonia products, very nice, we booked a "couples massage" and we loved it. Overall it was a perfect stay, no complaint what so ever. The staff was very friendly and Management was on top and very attentive. Thank you for a job well done.
“An Oasis”
The Hotel Colon has the feel of a 4 * western style hotel. We stayed here twice on our trip. The hotel is loaded with tourists both pre and post Galapagos. This is where the high end tour groups stay. It is about 5 minutes from the airport. The rooms are large by western standards, the bathrooms marble and glass. The beds are comfortable. The TVs have all the ususal cable channels. Decent business center. The spa, and gym are almost like a resort. But the best part was the huge warm pool. A welcome oasis after a week on a small boat. The food at the buffet was good, and the Grill restaurant was really top notch; well presented cuts of meat, decent wine list. We were too chicken to try the sushi place.
“Very disappointed in Hilton - Big $$$$ for nothin”
Cook-a-rot-cha in the room on the 8th floor. The coroners of the room are very dirty otherwise I guess it is passable. Won't stay in a Hilton ever again.
“Great breakfast”
We only stayed in this hotel to spend a night on our way to Galapagos, so it did serve its purpose. It was close to the airport, rooms were ok, though somewhat run down. In the evening, we just had small dishes at the bar, and they were actually quite good, but the winner was their breakfast! I dont remember where I have last time had such a complete and truly delicious breakfast buffet!
“Expensive and terrible service...!!! Supposed to be best in town...”
I had to wait 40 min to get a room, although I arrived after 2pm (check in time) and have a Hilton Honor card. Hotel maids stepped into my room without knocking the door at least 3 times (Sunday at 8:30am was one of them) during my 2 days stay. Prices on everything you buy or eat at the hotel are at US standards, although you are in Ecuador.
