Green Island Resort’s award-winning Emeralds Restaurant and Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where the menu changes daily. Features indoor air-conditioned or outside terrace dining. During the day a variety of food and refreshments options are available to houseguests. The Canopy Grill features casual outdoor dining and a buffet lunch, Lite Bites for icecreams and snacks, Reflections Pool Bar for specialty cocktails and coffees. Room service is available as are snacks and cold drinks from the Beach Hire Hut. Private beach dining is a resort specialty, subject to weather.

The Club Spa day spa is open daily for indulgent massage and beauty treatments, with in-room treatments available.

Other facilities include laundry facilities, resort shop, dive shop.

House guests enjoy a variety of free activities including use of snorkelling and non-motorised beach equipment such as kayaking and windsurfing, beach lounge chairs, guided evening nature walks, self-guided rainforest walks, glass bottom boat tours, daily fish feeding and entry to the world’s first underwater observatory.

Rooms

Green Island Resort has two styles of accommodation; Reef Suites and Island Suites. Each is elegantly appointed and features private balconies with either rainforest or pool views. The 46 rooms are set in clusters under the island’s rainforest canopy.

Reef Suites: Feature split level luxury suites of 66 square metres, king size bed, spacious lounge area, separate bath and shower, and private balcony. In-room maximum is 2 adults.

Island Suites: Feature spacious guest rooms of 56 square metres, either King bed or twin (2 x double bed) rooms, some inter-connecting or adjoining. All rooms with separate bath and shower, and private balcony.

Rollaway beds are available on request for Island Suite. In-room maximums: 2 adults OR 3 adults, OR 2 adults & 2 children (Children 0-14years inclusive).

In-room safes are provided. Coffee/tea makers are provided. Bathrooms include bathrobes and hair dryers. Rooms also include minibars and complimentary cable TV.

“Review”

I have spent 3 days at the hotel. I believe that the hotel doesn't worth money you pay for it. The owner doesn't really invest to maintain the hotel and its amenities in the hotel. I was shocked to see the safe-box with the key instead of pin. Also the fan and fridge were very noisy and despite my complains the staff couldn't do anything. Public area is not maintained in clean and workable condition. The door in the changing room was broken and noone bothered to fix it. Also public restrooms were not clean all the time. I was also shocked when I tried coffee for the breakfast; you get much better quality of coffee in the plane when you fly economy. Also variety of fruits and vegetbles for the breakfast was very limited and they were poor quality. I have provided feedback to the manager on duty but based on his reaction I don't think a lot will be changed.
