The hotel is very simple but well organized, clean, well located, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is fantastic and the accommodation is consistent with the price, simple but very well maintained, it has everything necessary for a good stay. The pool area is also very good, we liked it and recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and would go the the extra mile for you. The breakfast was great and plenty to choose from. Also the manager was sincere and helpful also the house keepers were very nice and always working hard, intact all the staff including the kitchen staff. I was very pleased.

the staff on my arrival were very friendly and inviting, I arrived in the morning and was checked in straight away without any questions, or even having to ask for an early checkin. Michael was great nice to have a chat to and offering free advice on things to do. I would definitely stay agin if i come back to Rodes as the hotel is located in the best position for the beach and the old town.

Pearl hotel is closed, bad smell in new hotel
The Pearl Hotel is actually currently closed (August 21). So on arrival you have to walk to a very close hotel which is owned by the same company called the Esperia City Hotel. This is apparently an upgrade as its a 3* as opposed to 2*. The facitilites are adequate, good strong AC and an excellent buffet breakfast. However the room absolute stunk of sewage and there are 2 plug sockets in the entire room which are already in use (for the world's oldest mini fridge and TV). If it hadn't been for the awful smell I would have given this a higher mark. However, I really think it's a little immoral to be selling rooms on hotels.com for a hotel that is shut and appears to be nowhere near close to be ready for reopening.

Good value Rhodes town accommodation
Ideal for 1 or 2 nights in Rhodes before catching a boat out to the smaller Dodecanese islands . Lovely breakfast, friendly service.

Great location. Within walking distance to old town and beaches. Fabulous breakfast each morning. Staff very friendly. We have been here before and highly recommend if in Rhodes. Very reasonably priced.

Pearl Hotel
I stayed one night in this hotel with my partner who booked because of the good reviews it gets and we needed a cheapish hotel before moving on. The good news is that it is in a very central location, the management are helpful, and the staff are very friendly. The bad news is it is a very tired building in desperate need of some major tlc. The rooms are miniscule and the shower area is no more than 24 " square !! The area is rammed full of 2x hotels,cheap restaurants and has been designed for guests on a very limited budget who basically want burger and chips and pints of lager. Think of Blackpool on a bad day and you won't be far off. It all looks thrown together in the 1970's and just left gradually to rot. The nearer you get to Rhodes old town the better the area becomes. So it is cheapish but that's it. Even if you are on a budget there has to be better. Staff 9/10.Hotel 3.5/10.

Hello dear Simon, at first i would like to apologise because for this one night you didn't stayed in our hotel Pearl but in the opposite hotel Diana Boutique Hotel. So ,your coments you do is actually for this hotel and not for ours.About the area is actually the main tourist area in town & is full of 2 stars hotels because the most of them had been build the period 1967-1970 .Some of them had been renovated & some not.Our hotel had been renovated recently.About the the comparison with Blackpool I can't say anything because I have never been in Blackpool.I wish you dear Simon a nice good life.

No frills value for money
Second time at The Pearl, it's basic but great value for money - aircon and good wifi included. Lovely people - bar staff especially are great and really friendly. Add in a fab location and it's perfect for a no frills week in the sun. Will be back...

Good choice!
Great little hotel, deserving of more stars. OK, rooms are a little cramped but they have everything you need, including very good free wifi (not always the case with even four star hotels). Staff friendly and yes the towel sculptures by the cleaners are fab! Bar staff superb. All in all, great value!

This is a well-located hotel in the city center. Just a five-minute walk from Ellie beach, 10 minute-walk from the old town. There is a bar/pub under the hotel which plays very good music. They have happy hour from 7 to 9pm. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean but small little bit. Good value for the price.

This hotel allocate above the pub.
The Expedia should stop selling the service for the bus pick up from airport, as the road in front hotel is narrow, the bus can not park, they drop you somewhere close by, and you help yourself to find the hotel...took us 30min to walk to hotel, as we get lost... Call a taxi it is much better.

Well, you're in Greece...
I probably got the very worse room at the hotel, but I guess that's what you get when you arrive late in the wee hours. Considering that, it wasn't the worse experience after all. The room was just a few steps to the elevator and the lobby/bar. So of course pretty early in the morning the action started and I woke up right away with loud voices coming from the tiled hallways in to my also tiled room. I immediately opened my computer and set a white noise to buffer the overwhelming noises. I fell sleep immediately after and never heard a thing since. All bathrooms at hotels I stayed in Greece were awful, with terrible plumbing and the infamous tiny shower boxes with only a curtain a foot high from the ground so water is all over the place. This hotel was a very nice improvement from the others as the toilette flushed right and had proper design and the shower box was probably twice as big as the others I had used and the curtain actually went all the way bellow the box edge. However because of an improper design water would still run through on side of it, Oh well.... But the worse silliness was this shelf piece to hold shower products they placed onto the wall on the narrowest side of the box making you hit it every time you moved or especially raised your arms. So bigger box but not exactly smarter! But considering you're in Greece I found the stay pretty pleasant and the lobyy of the hotel though with mostly an older crowd, a pretty cool and lively place to hang out.

Overbooked , had booked 2 rooms for me and mt 2 children(17-20 years old), an my daughter was glad getting her own room , but that did`t happen so we ended upp in a small trippleroom (double W/extra bed & rooms where booked nearly 2 months proior 2 arrivel ) , having stayed there before i had high expectation to the hotel who had a nice room for me at a nice price.But it did`t work this time around, so glad it was only for 1 night as we stayed the rest of our holiday at a BIG private pool-suite at the Villa Di Mare :-)

Room was quite small, but that was not a big problem. Beds were comfortable and we got plankets when asked. It was very hot in the bathroom and it caused some smells. Breakfast was amazing and lots to choose from. Desserts in breakfast were greek traditional food. Overall very good compared to the price and would recommend!

Kolmas kerta Rodoksella
Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva hotelli. Huone oli pieni, mutta siisti. Huoneesta löytyi jääkaappi, tv, ilmainen ilmastointi. Parvekkeelta oli kiva seurata ihmisvilinää. Aamiainen oli " sisarhotelli" Esperiassa. Pearlissa ei ole omaa omaa vastaanottoa, mutta hyvin ystävällinen omistaja otti vastaan, näytti paikat ja Esperian puolella tehtiin vastaanottotoimenpiteet. Tallelokero oli 11 euroa. Ruokapaikkoja, kauppoja ym lukuisia ihan vieressä, kävelymatka kaikkialle. Omistajalta olisi saanut reissuvinkkejä jne jos olisi tarvinnut, on joka päivä paikalla.

Due the pre season period the hotel was closed and we were accommodated in the partner hotel Esperia, what was right beside the hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Always were in positive mood. The breakfast buffet was good with a good variety of foods. The room was fine with a nice balcony.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!
Hotel nella città nuova, posizionato perfettamente per accesso alle spiagge e alla città vecchia. Staff gentile e disponibile, pulizia impeccabile. Colazione a buffet molto superiore alle attese per un due stelle. Piscina nel cortile interno, perfetta per qualche ora di relax. Le stanze sono poco insonorizzate per cui consiglio tappini se si ha il sonno leggero. Si trova sempre parcheggio a poca distanza, anche in agosto. La zona poi è piena di bar, ristoranti e market. Consigliato!

Stort sett greit🙂🙂
Det ble ikke skiftet på senga i løpet av 2 uker, bortsett fra et putetrekk.. Dusjforhenget var for kort, så det fløyt vann over hele badegulvet etterpå, men slik er vel stortsett og de fleste badene til denne prisklassen. Ellers var renholdet bra. Overlevde denne turen også🙂
