It is a nice and affordable hotel. The lady who works at the frontdesk is so friendly. The location is perfect. You can go where ever you want by walking.

Good basic choice
Stayed twice 3 weeks apart. 1st room one night was okay but basic. Second booking 2 nights. Latter much better- upgraded furnishings, new bathroom with walk in shower. Twin beds with decent balcony and street view. Good breakfast for 7 euros. No safe in room or kettle but was provided on request. Literally seconds from the harbour and a variety of tavernas and cafes. ATM outside front door. Reception excellent. Booking taxis etc. Very friendly. Price quite reasonable. 5 minutes or so from ferry terminal.

The people at the desk were friendly, breakfast was well prepared, the coffee was eccellent. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were too large and its filling should have been of a natural fiber. It has a good location, on a quite street near the port.

A little oasis on a wonderful island....
Our stay at Catherine Hotel was booked with very short notice but we found the reception staff so welcoming and helpful with ordering a taxi, safely storing our luggage and showing us nice places to eat in Kos town. The room was very clean and contemporary style and the location was superb for shopping, eating out and nightlife. The hotel has the look of a large modern city centre site but has, in reality, got a very pleasant and home feeling due to the nice people who work there.

Very friendly and helpful staff, booked us a taxi. Checking process was fast, rooms were clean. Shower was a little unusual with no curtain/screen. Very good value for money. All in all a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

Good Central Stay Hotel with friendly owners/staff
I have stayed at this family run hotel before out of the main season and although this was only a one night stay I a happy to record my general experience of the Catherine Hotel. The communication from the hotel about my early morning arrival was excellent (especially given the problems at Gatwick when the air traffic control system caused a 2.5 hour delay and issue at Kos airport bus service added another 30 minutes so I arrived 3 hours late. As always the family owner made herself present and despite it being 4.00 a.m. was friendly and efficient. The Catherine hotel is centrally located in Kos Town and has been modernised over recent years and is comfortable and good value. It does not have a pool or provide dinner but as a short stay town hotel it is absolutely fine and a good choice. It is open out of season.

Great Location!
Great experience. The staff emailed me after booking to see when I would arrive. They researched ferry times for me and were very nice in person. One minute walk to tons of restaurants and shopping.

Hotel was very clean throughout, I loved the shiny white tile. We had low expectations of this hotel and were happy with the accommodations. No shampoo or conditioner as expected and we were prepared. Didn’t give a full five stars for facility conditions as you could not properly place the shower head above you, the fitting piece was not right. Soap holder in bathroom was also broken but looks like an easy fix. TV broadcasted channels in static but we did not go to kos to watch to anyways.

Central location for Kos town
This is a clean, simple and comfortable hotel conveniently located in the town. I have stayed there perhaps 10 times and will do so again. This time there was a problem in room 6 with the shower not draining and flooding the bathroom floor but this is the first time I have had a problem of any sort.

Catherine hotel was good. The staff on arrival and throughout the stay were very friendly. I was in room 14 which was very comfortable and clean but unfortunately right next to the restaurant and the walls are paper thin so woken up by the cutlery relatively early otherwise no complaints

we stayed there for 15 nights found all the staff very friendly and helpful the room where very clean and well maintained would of been nice to have a kettle and cups in the room but didn't impede on are holiday and a bar in the evening would of been nice to relax in

Very close to the port and the centre of Kos ...
We have stayed here before. Hotel is in an ideal location for the centre of Kos. Two minutes walk from the port. It was also very quite at night despite being close to the town centre... overall cleanliness is good, telephone needed cleaning and I had a hole in my mattress but little things as we had a very pleasant stay for the money with a nice buffet type breakfast.

Nice welcoming hotel.
Very friendly and welcoming, rooms clean and looked newly decorated. Convenient to centre and shops and see front can be seen from balcony. Receptionist very friendly and helpful.

Catherine Hotel Day Stay
Only stayed for daytime hours not overnight. Convenient for island ferry service. Great budget price. Small bathroom, no shower screen or curtain and no toiletries. Room was clean and served its purpose.

A comfortable simple B&B hotel
I went to Kos out of season for week to see what life was like with a view to the longer term possibility of spending winters there. I know the island quite well already but wanted to see what it was like in term of weather, activity, etc. The Catherine Hotel is very well located in Kos Town very near to the bay and the boats. It is simple B&B hotel which was ideal for my stay at this time of year. It is family run and the female owner I spoke to on a number of occasions was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly good for the hotel rating but to put it simply those who seek 4 plus or 5 star and would like a hotel with sun bathing and pool facilities should look elsewhere. For stay in the town for shorter period or longer out of season (when only a few hotels on Kos are open)the Catherine is a very economical well located option.

The hotel is centrally located opposite the port, where you will find lots of restaurants and pubs along the street. The owner was really helpful, assisting us to confirm our ferry on the next day though we arrived almost midnight.

Over all the hotel is OK
The hotel lokated in a very good location very close to the senter of the city. Close to the hotel there is everything a any one can need including supermarket and lots of restaurants. A nice view from the balcony. And the staff in giving the best service even for the most ridicules request even after midnight. But the restroom needs extra care.

Great hotel in Kos!
Close to the harbour and port. Very helpful and welcoming staff, quiet and clean room just a block away from the esplanade and shopping area. Many restaurants nearby and great value! Thanks for letting us into our room prior to the check in time after an overnight ferry!

Hotel situato a 50 metri dal corso principale ma in un vicolo quindi silenzioso la sera ma a 50 metri dal cuore di kos. La struttura è nuovissima e pulita, il personale gentile, in camera ci sono tutti i confort come aria condizionata e frigorifero. Il bagno è un po piccolo ma nuovo e pulito, l'unica cosa è che ci sono vari mezzi piani quindi bisogna fare sempre degli scalini quindi non adatto a chi ha difficoltà con le scale. Se dovessi tornare a kos tornerei allo stesso hotel: moderno, pulito, nel cuori di kos e con prezzi moderati.

Pour moins 65 CHF la qualité/prix était très correct. Cet hôtel bénéfice d’un super emplacement. Mais c’est certain qu’il ne faut pas comparer à un hôtel à 150CHF/nuit
