I had an issue with the shower at 7:00 am on the day we were to leave. No hot water in the shower. Called front desk Response - We had issues with handles being put backward, No Maintenece person available We were leaving that day Next response - we can move your room. I tried to call hotel 3 times to talk to the manager left a message to front desk for Eric Scott mgr no response - call transferred over to Wyndham corporate however they couldnt a response. I also booked 2 separate rooms. I ended up taking a cold shower and my wife couldnt take one, The lack of response was unacceptable. Filed an compliant with Corporate Wyndham however their response was a cover up by stating that no issue with the shower.

Our stay was great and the staff were all friendly. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the $30 fee if you checked in early. I can see if they went out of their way to get you in early, but if the room is ready, what's the harm in allowing your guests and early check in without a fee? Breakfast selections were good and the pool was nice sized for a hotel. We would stay again.

We had a two-night stay. We just felt like they should of come in after our first night and freshed the towels, made the beds, and taken out the trash. Otherwise, the stay was nice and comfortable. Rooms were clean.

Thank you for staying with us. We do not go into guests rooms unless they are a longer stay. After day 3 upon request we go in and change out the trash and vacuum. Towels are readily available at front desk. We find on average after covid most people do not want housekeeping to go into their rooms, so mot hotels have gotten away from treating stays daily.

I was very pleased by how nice the Baymont in Grand Haven, Michigan is. At check in the desk staff were pleasant and professional. The room was nice and the bedding and towels gave an upscale ambience to the room. We were there Mother's Day weekend for Tulip Time in Holland, Michigan so I made reservations for brunch ahead of time. If I had know how extensive and well stocked the free breakfast was, I would have skipped my brunch reservations. They had a wide variety of foods and beverages including eggs with salsa, sausage, pancakes, yogurt and toast, cereals and more. The coffee was good. Out in the lobby is another coffee bar with Nespresso. There is a very nice pool and hot tub which made me wish that we had brought our swimming suits along. The other guests were quiet and there wasn't a 'pool smell'. I give them a hearty thumbs up!

It was very outdated. It had a mildew smell to the whole place. The bed was very comfortable but the pillow smelled like sweat. Bathroom was very small and the lights blinked when you go in to use it. The tub was stain and the grout was not clean. The door had huge gaps around the frame and it didnt close properly. We could hear conversations from the hall. Parking was fine. It was close to nice restaurants and markets. It was very outdate and dark. There was breakfast but we didn't eat it. It served the purpose but I wouldn't stay again.

This was a pet friendly, convenient location for our visit. We had called to get adjoining rooms, which did not get set up. However, the front desk staff was able to shift our rooms & get this accomplished. The room was nice with ample space. There was a door to the outside near our room that needs maintenance. Breakfast & breakfast staff was very nice. Quiet Thurs but noisy Fri night. No surprise.

The property is in a good location, right off a main highway. The check-in wasn’t the best as I was asked if I knew about the $100 security deposit. When I said no the front desk rep replied "You do now". Not very polite! I am not sure who designs rooms in a hotel but it is likely not a woman. This is not unique to this property but it is still annoying to have no shelves in the shower to set shampoo and other bath items on. The only space for these was a tiny sliver on the corners of the tub. Not at all convenient. The property is in need of an update as the room didn’t even have a USB port to charge our phones. This necessiated a trip to the front desk for an adapter. Not the fault of the hotel but the rooms clearly say No Smoking on each door yet the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana. I would choose to stay at a different hotel next time.

Property was fine. I was a little put off by the used bar of soap still in the shower. Also, we had to go and ask that they do something about the 2 dogs in the room next to ours that barked nonstop for the first 40 minutes we were there. Eventually the dog owners came back and the dogs only barked when they heard people in the hallway. 😡

Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry about the dogs, we did contact the owners right away, we have a very strict policy about not leaving dogs unattended and we are sorry the guest did not adhere to it, but as soon as we heard it we contacted the room, and the guest.

This hotel is not nearly as good as I expected. There is mold growing in the shower/ bathtub. The bathroom is so small the the door nearly hits the toilet. There were no towels available when I asked for an extra one because the didn’t have any available in the pool room either. The freezer was disgusting, looked like someone spilled something all over and no one ever cleaned it up. There was dust on all the lamps like the room hasn’t been properly cleaned in a while. There is a door in my room that connects to the other room that someone is renting and I can just unlock the door and go in there room or vice versa. Very disappointed especially considering that this is a tourist town. You would think the hotels would be a little bit nicer.

Hello, we can look into the issues you had and figure out what happened as this is not how the rooms are suppose to be when our guests check in. The connecting door locks from both sides, so nobody can walk into the others room. For future anytime there is ever an issue with your room please let us know right away so we can correct it or move you rooms.

The room was outdated, but it was the cheapest room around. Bed was comfortable, but the property felt old. It was good enough for a night of sleep, which is what we were looking for.

The bedding in my room had dark brown stains on them. It appeared to be makeup or some sort of dark food/drink. I felt uncomfortable and used my own blanket that I brought. Overall the rest of the room was fine.

The staff was friendly, but our room was dirty. Had not been vacuumed, broken curtain, drawers wouldn’t stay closed, hair on the shower walls and toilet paper was open and partially used. At least 50 people in the pool area with 30 kids running, pushing each other and no towels in site. Hotel was decent, but dirty. Wouldn’t stay again. Apart from all of this, the women working breakfast during our stay was wonderful! So sweet and friendly.

I stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago when my child was 1 or 2, it was difficult then due to no elevator, carrying all things baby and my own un and down stairs. But our stay was nice and quiet, we really didn’t spend much time there other than to sleep. This visit was definitely different! My son absolutely loved the pool, able to swim anywhere in the pool with his arm floaties since pool isn’t more than 5 ft deep. Goes from 3ft-5ft and it was also very clean. Public pools creep me out so that made me very happy. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain and the toilet didn’t work and the a/c, heat system didn’t work either. Of course I called the front desk and the lady helped me over the phone fix the a/c, heat system, the shower curtain I forgot to ask about but the toilet did get fixed, the following day. The room was clean enough and we slept very good. Thank you

Hello, thank you for staying with us. It looks like you booked a king room on the first floor. Our king rooms are down the hall by the laundry room. Most have been booked up with longer staying guests. I am not understanding the no privacy, all of our rooms are private, and our housekeeping do not enter the rooms during your stay unless it is every third day, and only upon request. As for the being away from other people, we cannot exclude people from being around you. We have the king wing down that hallway as well as some of our handicap accessible rooms, and most of those have been booked up with other guests. If you would like to clarify your review please give us a call directly and we would be happy to speak with you.

Hello, I am sorry you feel you were treated poorly. When we have a guest fraudulently try and pay for a room with a CLC card that was no longer active for well over a year we take that seriously. This was confirmed by front desk and upon reviewing the video of the interaction. Therefore because you tried to fraudulently scam us, we asked you to leave and did not want to conduct any further business with you. Hopefully this clears this matter up for you.
