Beautiful Clean Cabin
Stayed with a group of friends and the cabin was clean with everything we needed for the weekend. Nice walking trail along the river. Would definitely stay here again. Great hosts!

Seney cabin
Property was great. Check in was easy. Seen 2 deer down by the river. Loved the location and seney wildlife refuge was right across the street. Definately hope to stay again this summer.

Beautiful Getaway Cabin
Our family spent three nights in this cozy cabin and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! This was a great home base to explore other attractions- Pictures Rocks, Lake Superior, etc. It was fun to unwind in the hot tub in the evening. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Cozy fireplace was a bonus, as well as the trail along the river in the back. You can hear road traffic, so if you’re looking for silence this is not it. BUT it’s surrounded by trees so you feel secluded and it’s private.

Central location
The cabin and property were beautiful! Pics just don't do it justice. The cabin was easy to find and well marked. It is also a very central location and made it easy to travel to different attractions. We will definitely be back!

U.P. weekend
The house is beautiful, rustic, spotless, and very comfortable. Located within 45 minutes of Taquamenon Falls, Kitc-iti-kipi, and The Picrtured Rocks. A great centralized location for all we wanted to see. The front deck overlooking the yard and the river was beautiful and a perfect spot for "happy hour" drinks and snacks. The kitchen was adequately appointed and clean. We would stau here again in our "up north" travels.

Nice cabin but not quiet
Well-kept and comfortable cabin along the Manistique River. If you are accustomed to very loud traffic noise you will feel right at home, if not you may be disappointed. The cabin sits less than 100 feet from busy highway 77 where the south-bound posted speed limit is 65 mph. When north-bound 18-wheelers hit the engine breaks one can almost hear the windows rattle. Be prepared for the bare minimum cooking gear from pots to knives; its 30 miles to the nearest restaurants.

I am so sorry that the traffic was loud for you. Yes, we are on a main highway which can be busy. But it also makes it easily accessible in the winter. You are also the first one that has complained about the noise bothering them. It is not country quiet, but has never been loud enough to bother us or our previous guests. We have several people that are repeat guests. I am also sorry that you did not notice any of the restaurants in Curtis, Jolly's Inn in Germfask, or Andy's Bar in Seney. There are several restaurant/bars within 15 minutes of the cabin. We appreciate your feedback, and will look into getting some more pots.

Beautiful Cabin on the River
This place was supplied with everything you need from the kitchen to the bedroom. We would love to rent this cabin again in the future. Recommend this to everyone looking for a great relaxing stay. I give them A+. Randy and Vicky P.

Perfect location!
Beautiful cabin and property. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Close to kayak/canoe trips, golf courses, and more. We took day trips to Munising, Newberry, Deer Park - then came back and relaxed around the campfire. Would definitely stay here again.

Seney Satisfaction
Wonderful place to stay, Second time staying here. Quiet close to the Seney Wilderness Refuge, where we go a lot to take pictures of the wildlife and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Awesome winter retreat
We came up here for a snowmobile trip and this place was perfect. Plenty of room for sleeping and eating and the house was spotless. A little tough to get to the trails but there wasn’t a ton of snow to work with. We ended up trailering to Seney, which was an easy trip. Will definitely back (in winter and summer)!

Hidden Gem
The Seney Cabin is an absolute gem! Very cozy and well maintained. Spacious room for all 6 guests to sleep and lounge. Plenty of linens and towels for use. We hope to return again in the summer to enjoy the River that runs thru the backyard.

Relaxing
The cabin was very, very nice. Just as advertised. It’s perfect for two couples, or a family. We went dog sledding, one day, snowmobiling the next. The location is good, but the driveway could be a bit tricky if you’re pulling a snowmobile trailer. Nice view overlooking the Manistique River.
