At 570 square meters, Open Sky is the only fitness and spa center with a swimming pool at Frankfurt Airport. From the ninth floor, guests can view the airport or the vast city forest while using modern cardio and fitness equipment. The spa features a 15 meter heated jet stream pool system, Finnish sauna (90°C), Saunarium (60°C), solarium, light therapy, and steam bath. Trained physiotherapists provide individual massage. Facials, body treatments, body scrubs, and beauty treatments are available. Manicures and pedicures are also available.

“great service”
Not much around the airport or hotel. The staff were excellent. Gave us a free upgrade even though we booked with Expedia. The rooms were clean and modern. Food in the restaurants were good.

The hotel in general is a magnificient place to rest, even if you are just one night waiting for a conection to other place, or if you decide go and relax over there. The area around the hotel is German forest with nice paths to walk and bike. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and modern, nice decoration and service. I truly recommend it.

“Excellent!”
Excellent hotel. We had booked a family room but apparently the third bed had not been made up in advance so we were upgraded to a bigger room and the bed was made up very quickly - as we arrived late evening. My children went to the swimming pool up on a higher floor the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed their swim with excellent views! The hotel is very close to the airport and is serviced by a full-size bus every 15min so there was no having to wait for the next one! We didn't eat at the hotel although the facilities looked great.
“Convenient and Great Place to Catch Some Sleep”
We enjoyed a good night's sleep in a clean, comfortable room. The staff and service was impeccable. Food is expensive but good. The shuttle service to the terminal was dependable and there were no excessive waits on our two roundtrips. If you are afraid of low-flying aircraft, please note that planes now sweep directly over the lobby area as they land at the NW runway at FRA that opened in October 2011. The new flight path is a nightmare for local residents and a disgrace to the state of Hessen. At this time (January 2012), no flights are allowed between 11 PM and 5 AM. Our room was equipped with two aluminum frame windows that doubled up the noise protection and enabled us to sleep beyond the first flight approaching at 5:01 AM.
“High Quality Stopover for European Travel”
We (a mature couple) stayed at the hotel on two occasions in 2012, once in March and then again in early April, mainly because of its proximity to the airport. We were using Frankfurt as our base for our travels around Europe and UK. The hotel shuttle runs every 15 minutes, and the ride is only four minutes long. The check-in is fast and pleasant, the rooms are fairly large, and the high quality cotton bed linen ensures a good night sleep. Internet access is available at additional cost. The breakfast buffet looked tempting, but at 26 Euros per person rather pricey, so we opted out.

Great option for quick and easy access to the airport. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, which allows for a relaxing night before heading to the airport.
“Good hotel and very convenient”
Less than 5min shuttle bus ride. Very nice hotel. Some maintenance items like torn carpet should repaired to improve the score but not a reason not to stay here. Service staff very great and very friendly. Power in room is only 2-prong round plug so if you need a different receptacle be aware they generally make you buy an adapter for 19Euros. I managed to get a loan of one that was in their lost of found.
