“The best part of our trip”
We only stayed here the last night of our week long trip, and it was the best part of the trip. The hotel staff was extra friendly, we were able to check in early and asked for a later checkout due to our afternoon flight. The location on the beach was perfect, view was perfect, and room was very nice. It is an older hotel and some of the outlets in our room needed to be replaced. i let the front desk know on the way out. That was the only issue we had with the hotel. Everything else was great. The hotel has a new bar/restaurant right on the beach with the patio sitting area overlooking the beach and ocean. Food was very good and reasonably priced. We would love to stay here if we come back to Ft. Lauderdale again.
“Everything they promised and more!”
The Sun Tower was everything they promised and more! Each room had a balcony right on the beach (and not across the street). It was located right next door to the Pelican Grand for half the price. I didn't see one bug in the room and only a beetle in the open stairwell. The building is well maintained. Each day they put free lounge chairs and umbrellas up for guests. There was free parking. The room was lovely with 2 flat screen TVs, French doors into the bedroom, a comfy couch and a kitchenette. My 15 year old son and I absolutely loved it. We went north a mile for supplies and south a mile for a huge selection of restaurants. But mainly, we stayed on the beach at our lovely hotel. Only thing wrong with this trip was not nearly enough time.
“Awesome, I lttle pricey but worth it!”
We very much injoy this hotel. The location is great to be away from the normal crowd to some degree. On the water with nice rooms. Building is a littel older but seems to be kept up. It was a little pricey but great for a short get away!
“Wonderful small hotel”
It was almost midnight when we arrived. The front desk was waiting and ready - and extremely pleasant and helpful! He even carried all of our bags up, gave us some restaurant tips, and was generally one of the most pleasant hotel staff I have ever encountered. The King Suite was very large, clean and comfortable. The wall-to-wall sliding glass doors in the living room face the ocean, which is just about 50 yards away. The only draw-back is the "restaurant" which is VERY high priced for the very average food that they serve. With many markets in the area, buy a few breakfast/lunch/snack things for the refrigerator, which is in the small kitchenette. (There's no stovetop.) All in all, a nice, small hotel at a decent price and good location.
“Great vacation!!”
We went on a cruise and then stayed 4 days at the Sun Tower Suites, The guy Dominick at the front desk was nicer and more helpful than anyone on the cruise. Our room was a suite, and it was very nice. We met the owner Jerry the next morning in the Bar/Cafe. Jerry and his whole staff really were friendly, all of the rooms have an incredible view, the hotel is on the beach, not across the street. We stayed 4 days here, some great people in the bar, you were not a room number to them, Hippie Mike, Larane, and the Chef Brent, helped make this a great vacation!!! Christine the manager was very friendly to everyone, The whole place was very cozy and all the people we met were having a great time too!! The hotel also recommended a guy to drive us to the Roger Waters show, this vacation could not have been better! We plan on coming back! This is a very nice vacation town, in the evening after our beach time, the traffic was not bad at all. We rented a car from hertz which is just a few miles down the street. Loved the Suite the people and the beautiful beach!!!
“Great Place to stay in Ft Lauderdale area”
We found this place to be the best place that we have stayed in the Ft Lauderdale area and we have stayed in many. It has been renevated very nicely. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are clean. The staff is very nice. The location is good with convient access. It is small and very quiet and great view of the ocean. The free parking is an asset

this hotel exceeded my expectations me and my family had a wonderful stay at Sun Tower great service. rooms were very comfortable and cleaning personnel was awesome and all valubles left in the room were intact.
“Beautiful view!”
The view of the Atlantic Ocean was breathtaking. Would definitely go back there and always request the ocean view. The only negative thing was there was no on-site restaurant. But, they told us there was plans for the future. Guess we will have to go back to find out.
