“Good value for our simple travel needs to visit family.”
We were in town for a Fri-Mon weekend to attend a wedding a visit with family in Hallendale. We knew we would be renting a car and spending the whole day out with friends and family so we wanted to find a clean safe place that offered value... and we found it. We considered staying at some other fancier places near the beach but when we thought about the fact that we would not really be spending time at the hotel except to sleep each night we decided to make a decision based on value. The included-rate parking and breakfast is what helped us to select the Hyatt Summerfield over say the other business-quality hotels in the area. The hotel certainly met our expectations, the facility was very new, quite clean, and well kept. The staff was pleasant and our stay was as expected... perfectly fine.
“Fantastic suites - new”
The airport shuttle pick up was free but the shuttle to the cruise port was for a small cash-only fee per person. It was worth it to have the cruise port shuttle because they dropped you off right at your ship, bags and all. The shuttle was able to navigate better through the Port Authority traffic than the traditional cabs and passenger vehicles. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and spacious. The continental breakfast was amazing! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and would not be afraid to return to it should we choose to visit Ft. Lauderdale again. The shopping center across the street had a Barnes and Noble, Old Navy, Kmart, and Famous Footwear....just in case you need some last minute supplies for your cruise or fun-in-the-sun vacation.

There were 3 couples in our party...We were all so impressed with this property, great location, airport & local shuttle, loved the daily breakfasts 7 the evening social weeknights was phenomal!!! You will see us again!

“Outstanding Hotel - Book it now”
Great hotel and employees. Very clean new hotel in a great location for pre-cruising. Employees were very helpful. We arrived at the airport after midnight and they still sent a shuttle for us and greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was one of the best I have seen in the complementary category. Jacob was very courteous and helpful with our needs. I will stay at this hotel again for sure if in the area. The room was large enough for my wife and I and our two grown children. Nice job Hyatt!
“Excellent stay”
I recommend this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, with well equipped kitchen, pool, laundry service. It is 5-8 minutes from the airport but did not hear the planes. The only situation is apparently the staff of the lobby does not speak Spanish and it is understood that the staff of a hotel like this should be ready to receive people from all over the world. Luckily I had no problem with the language. The hotel is quite close, malls, restaurants, gas station etc. .. The hotel is well located and very comfortable. The check-in and check-out was very fast. was a very good choice!!!!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT ON THIS FROM THE HOTEL TO DINING AND SHOPPING.WE CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK.
