The concierge is not 24 hrs. This forced me to change my travel plans traveling from Switzerland. That cost me an extra $262.00. We also had a strange knock on our door 30 minutes after we arrived at the hotel. That made my wife very nervous, because the concierge was not 24 hrs. The hotel was clean and the apt. was nice. I'm not sure if I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Toilet floor has a pool of water when we’re in. We thought it was Leaking . I cleaned the water and the floor is dry ever after! This room was obviously not cleaned properly! They should be charged for cleaning fees

The front desk staff member Renalde was very helpful and provided excellent customer service and we appreciated his friendly attitude and assistance. However, Hotel Management refused to fix our kitchen sink and had no hot water causing us to boil water. Not very professional or appreciated.

This is a ONE star motel/rooming house at the VERY MOST!!!! 4 star is very disrespectful to other hotels… it is horrible on so many levels… is fairly clean but thats it…. Wow what a surprise its even on Expedias website but as a 4 star it is a downright lie.

Great property and great staff. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and it was cheaper than the tiny hotel room (Marriot) across the street. Highly recommended for families.

Check in staff was friendly and helpful with many questions. Room ( apartment) was good size and clean but beds were very uncomfortable. Noise at night sounded like someone vacuuming and dropping things kept us awake until long after midnight.

It's an excellent property and we had a very comfortable stay. Only that it's on one side of the station and major attractions are on the other side so be prepared to walk a bit.

Not worth booking a stay here. The facilities are old and their air condition isn’t working. When I asked the manager he said it will be fixed by next week. We stayed for 2 nights at this property and were bitten by mosquitoes as we had to open the windows as it’s so humid on Florence during our stay. It’s a stressful experience to say the least. There are more decent places to stay and unfortunately this property doesn’t cut the list. Not recommend at all!

When traveling to Venice, this is a great option instead of a high priced hotel in the island, so convenient to the train station then just a 10 min ride and you’re in the middle of everything. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and a great value

The hotel clerks are very friendly and helpful, hotel is classic with vintage doorknobs, doors, etc. but all well kept. The Metro stop is a block away so easy access to the city. We stayed in room for 4 and it was very spacious with small kitchen that allowed us to buy and cook some meals but it is close to restaurants and has auto laundry across the street.

Huge rooms
We got a huge room with separate living and sleeping areas. And the biggest balcony i have seen on a hotel room, must be almost 30 sqm. Wifi worked great and staff was friendly. Very easy to go downtown by foot, bus or tram.

Okay value
The hotel is an okay value. The staff is nice and helpful. It’s an older hotel that is kept clean. There is a bedroom separate from the entry area with bathroom on the opposite side of the bedroom. The bed is comfortable. The Electric plugs are not in convenient areas and only a few of them. I was on the first floor and had lots of traffic noise. I’ve learned to bring ear plugs on trips. The hotel is kinda close to the train station and only okay in a convenient area for site seeing. I have nothing bad to say about this location, but I probably will not stay here again.

I liked the Layout of the room- we had a sitting area with TV, small kitchen, and bedroom. Also had balcony off bedroom and sitting room. The room was very clean. The people at the desk were personable and helpful The location was 10” walk from Santa Maria Novella We were able to take a tram from airport and only 5” walk to hotel.

The hotel restaurant is a hidden gem
Overall, it served our needs. The bed was super comfy, and it had an old world vibe which made us feel like we are in Europe. Loved the windows but we kept it closed bc our view were our neighbors. We learned from this hotel experience and a few more that followed on this trip, that in general, elevators are tiny (max 3 persons with one carryon bag each) as well as tiny shower stalls (hard to turn around). That said, it was all part of the European experience, I suppose. However, the staff were super friendly and helpful. But the hidden gem of this hotel is the restaurant. Excellent food (everything we tried) and the best tiramisu we had in Italy.

Property was very clean and staff was super friendly. We had some issues with our room, and staff kindly helped us feel comfortable and fixed the issues. They also helped us reading the map and getting around the area. This place is 5 mins walk from T1 tram line from SMN station, which is very convenient. There is a laundry facility across the street, and several places to eat around the block. Will definitely stay here again.

I liked the fact that there is a kitchenette, and there is a separation between the bedroom & living area. You can take the bus to city center from in front of the hotel, tram way to train station is about 5-10 minutes walk. It isn't in the city center & not sure how long it takes to walk to center.
