Had to ask for a different room because of holes in the sheets, no secondary lock on door, no toilet paper holder and trim coming off in bathroom. Also very poor selection for breakfast - we went out instead.

We stayed seven nights and our room was not made up once. Had to go down and get towels every night and explain room was not cleaned to no avail. Took a garbage bag from one of the trash containers so we had someplace to put seven days of garbage.

The property was dirty, ashes on the window sill where people were smoking in a non smoking room, the place smelled like pot from the time you walked up to the front door at check in and all the way to our room on the second floor. It wasn't until we closed our room door we didn't smell it. The room was dirty, the tub was filthy. It would do for a single trucker needing a shower and a bed but I would never bring my family here. It is typical of most Baymont by Wyndom hotels I've stayed in. I will not stay in one unless no other hotels are available. The first one on my list to avoid and the last one I choose, but never without cringing over what I know the condition will be upon checkin. And this has been true across multiple states, which tells me it's a business culture and not an isolated franchise.

Don’t understand why eggs to snap for breakfast that was a heartbreaker. I was really concerned about their not being any meat, but if there’s no meat, there should be at least an eggs.

My check in time was supposed to be at 3 pm, however, room was not ready until much later and still had to wait additional 30 minutes for it to be cleaned. Pool was not open, feel like this should be communicated when booking. After checking in, had to have cleaning guy come back to wipe stuff off the mirrors and wipe down the furniture since it had a complete layer of dust. Room was not vaccumed, and you could tell sheets were not changed, only made the bed up. Had to request towels from cleaning when he came back. He was very polite tho. Was in room for over an hour and luckily had door locked with security thing on door, because someone was attempting to enter the room without even knocking, just trying to use the key. No one responded when i asked who it was. About 2 hours later, same issue, someone attempting entry with key card but door was locked they couldnt get in. I was able to get to the door that time and it was a cleaning lady, who said she was "just checking to be sure room was clean" and it was her the 1st time as well. She stated she had attempted to come in pbefore as well, and realized we were already checked in. Not sure why she returned a 2nd time if she knew we were checked in, especially not even knocking 1st. Had what seemed to be homeless people milling in the corridor on the way to our room for several hours. The occupants above us were extremely noisy ALL NIGHT and sounded like they were having full on wresting matches and body slamming people. More

This was our second stay and both stays were fine. They seem to be upgrading and remodeling things, which is great. Check in and check out is usually quick and easy, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does their job well. My only complaint is the bathrooms, the first toilet had a broken seat and the 2nd one didn't have anything bolting it down to the floor. Did not complain to front desk, because it's not that big of a deal.

This property was in need of a deep clean and repairs. Staff was fine, toilet seat cracked so you had to put washcloth on it to sit down. Filthy grout, cracked bottoms of doors, stale smoke smell and dirty floors.

Stayed in a jacuzzi room. The bathroom was a wreck. Paint and spackeling everywhere, both the door latch for the bathroom and the "improvised" lock system were busted to where the door wouldnt even shut, the water for the tub/shower couldnt be shut all the way off, the side panel on the jacuzzi was falling off. The back of the tv remote was missing on top of several other aesthetically unappealing details. Fortunately the jacuzzi functioned as that was the main incentive for the stay. But I assure you I would never pay $150 for a room of this quality again.

There was graffiti on the back of the bathroom door, the shower stall had a larger (larger than a half dollar) hole in the wall. When I reported it to the front desk they assured me it was due to a safety rail, no one would be watching through it (I didn’t even think about that until AFTER the front desk mentioned it). There hasn’t been a lot of upkeep or cleaning done in the room. Very disappointed.

Not the fanciest but convenient with multiple food options near by. Some difficulties with key but bed extremely comfortable. VERY quiet other than party in the parking lot but drowned out with AC. Nice breakfast.

The room was in need of repair and updates. The pool area was dirty. Didn't look like anyone had cleaned in a week. The pool itself had some gritty stuff on the bottom. I know I will not stay there again.

Not only did the bathroom door handle fall off in my hand, the door would not close because it was litterally falling apart and the shower had duct tape cover cracks in the liner. I went to the front desk and they said that almost everyroom had issues like this because they had no maintenance staff anymore. Seriously?!?

We didn't see the room. The room we had payed for was given away. There were no handicap rooms available. We left and went to a different hotel. They needed 100 cash deposit. It didn't look safe area.

The midnight front desk attendant was great! He was friendly and carried on a positive pleasant conversation with us. The property around the area was very unsafe. Lots of sweating tires and parking lot loitering all night long. The indoor pool entrance and laundry were filthy and littered with trash. They checked us in almost 2 hours late while we sat in a room with no air conditioning. We asked for an hour late check out, they promptly refused.

no way to do business
We wound up not staying. Though I had a copy of my registration confirmation for, they would not recognize it . Seems there was a problem because the name of the hotel changed. They told us to pay again at whatever rate they now had and ask hotels.com for a refund (to be issued at a later date.) No way to do business! The hotel was run down and understaffed. We did not re- register, but were able to find a different hotel. I did get in touch with hotels.com and received my refund a few days later. Hotels.com advertises that reservations are guaranteed. Obviously, this was not true. This process took a couple of hours and this was after an 11 hour drive for us. We will not use hotels.com again.
