“nice hotel,plesent staying”
I wood stay in this hotel agen, wery nice. Thanks Expedia
“Ramada Inn, Erie down town, Great Place to Stay”
I enjoy staying at the Ramada, Erie downtown. It is very close to Hamot hospital as well as other points of interest. Clean, comfortable room, nice lounge, complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast was great, served coffee and orange juice was many choices on the buffet. I have stayed there many times and will stay there again. Friendly, helpful staff.
“You get what you pay for”
Considering I booked this hotel the night before I left for my trip to Erie, I couldn't have asked for a better deal. In addition to waiting until the last second, it was also July 4th weekend. The help at the hotel was very nice and the hotel was in a great location. The only real improvement is that they need to spruce up the exterior of the building and get that pool fixed. Its a process but if you need somewhere decent and inexpensive. This is the place
“Good value”
The hotel wasn't in the most interesting or best neighborhood, and the halls near the swimming pool were extremely humid and hot, but the service was very good and everything was clean. It was also only a five minute drive down to the bay area with nice restaurants and other attractions
“Surprised and Shocked in downtown Erie”
I was very surprised. I booked this hotel due to the fact of seeing a concert in downtown Erie and didnt want to stay down by Presque Isle. People were very nice. The pool was beautiful and very clean. They seemed to have undergone some renovations and were also in the process of redoing the lounge and restaurant. Continental breakfast was ok. I would go back again if the need was there.
“for the location and city this and a short stay this is a fine hotel”
They need to get their ice dispenser fixed. there was only one on the 2nd fl my 1st day Later the one on the 4th fl (My Floor) was working. All in all this is an old hotel but not that bad.. The help "Owners" are very nice and helpful
“Worth the rate”
It's a cheap downtown motel. It's a good place to stay if your going to be out partying and don't mind a little noise while you sleep. It's well worth the cost of the room. Its not a flop house, and it's not a Hampton Inn. For a place to sleep get cleaned up and change it's perfect! We were there to do just that as we were on the go all day. It is near an ambulance station so you will hear an occasional siren, and maybe a noisy neighbor.
“Good for the price”
This is a motel that was converted into a hotel by enclosing the walkway into more of like a breezeway. It is an old building but it is nice and clean. We did have one outlet that didn't work so I had to dry my hair by the bed but that's not a big deal. Clean bathrooms; clean bedding and this is a great place for the price. The surrounding neighborhood has little to offer but it's a good alternative to staying off I-90 and paying a lot more. If you are traveling and stay here, my recommendation would be to eat somewhere off the highway first then check in. All the good restaurants are a 10 minute drive to Peach St.
“Friendly”
From checkin to checkout the staff was friendly and courteous
“ok for 1 nightt”
It is good to stay for short term say 1 or 2 days
