"Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

"Lake Latoya is a wonderful lake. So clean. We enjoyed using the large yard to run energy out of our 3 year old grand daughter. Cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen for utensils. As stated in the description you need to bring all of you kitchen groceries, all the way down to salt and pepper. 😁 Would go back again in a heart beat! "We had a wonderful stay at Abbey's cabin on Lake Ida! The check-in process was great with no key needed. The cabin was super clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable after a long day on the lake. The enclosed sun room was fun at night playing games and chatting with family. We can't wait to come back here next year and would highly recommend this cabin."

We enjoyed a pizza at Zorbas on Ottertail lake, visited some shops in Perham and enjoyed a visit with old friends on Pelican Lake. Glendalough State park features bike and hiking trails, which we enjoyed. The lake access on Silver Lake is walking distance from the cabin. Larry and Gloria"

The cabin is well appointed for a group stay—plenty of comfortable beds, a well-supplied kitchen, and lovely outdoor spaces right on the lake shore. The homeowners went out of their way to make the cabin welcoming and to communicate the many options for activities in the area."

"We had beautiful weather, we enjoyed time outdoors on the deck with a great view of the lake. While we didnt use the bunk house, I could see kids having a great time out there in their own lil fort. We enjoyed our stay and our time in the Alexandria area. I would definatly stay again."

"We surprise our kids every Christmas with a cabin trip in the summer. This cabin was beautifully decorated, and it had everything we could possibly need while we stayed there. There were so many fun areas for our entire family to enjoy…relaxing and eating out on the huge deck, every evening we enjoyed the bonfire area, our granddaughters loved the kid playhouse, everyone loved the sandy beach area, lots of floaties, paddle board, paddle boat, and kayaks. "Spent weekend there with my best friend and his two seven year old daughters. We were even able to bring our dogs along. Property was well stocked with all the things we needed (not food, obviously). We had a great time just hanging out and fishing off the dock. Only drawback was water was too mucky to swim on that side of the lake the weekend we went."

"I can’t begin to express how many “wow’s” came out of our mouth as we explored the house. So clean and cozy. It was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. We really enjoyed checking out Alexandria and coming back tired, we hung out near the fireplace and watched tv. The view of the lake was gorgeous.
