Beautiful Spacious Home with Great Amenities
The place was well described and did not disappoint as the pool, jacuzzi, pool table and ping pong all got a lot of use. The tennis court was great as well. Lots of beds to choose from allowing us all to get good sleeps each night and being in a secluded area it was a very quiet property. About a half hour taxi from downtown SD but it was worth it for the amenities at this property, would recommend to any large group staying in the area and would stay there again!

Amazing house for family vacation
The house is very spacious for our large extended family and served as a wonderful base for our first visit to San Diego. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the great amenities available especially the swimming pool, tennis court, gym and pool table. The host was quick to send a maintenance person when we had problem with the heating of the pool. Thank you for a great stay.

A Rockstar's Spring Break Vacation!
WOW! The property's description matched perfectly with what we found upon arrival. Then our expectations were further encouraged with each turn as the hosts' thoughtfulness and attention to details was obvious throughout our stay! The house is awesome & perfect for whatever you want to do! The gym, pool, tennis courts, and everything in-between was just what this family needed for Spring Break! BRAVO & THANK YOU ! Best listing in San Diego!
Everything was absolutely perfect at the house and host was extremely responsive with any questions. Will definitely be back! We had large group in town for tennis tournament and stayed here. Was fantastic having a court on the property. The outdoor pool area is also on par with any 5-star resort!

Stunning House
We stayed here during the raining. The house became our oasis. There was great outdoor areas with cover roof to enjoy the outdoor during mild rain. The hot tube was just right to keep us warm after we jumped in the pool. The kitchen was well equipped. The only regret we had is that we couldn't enjoy the tennis court and putting green with the rains. We loved your place. When we come back to SD we are certain to look to stay with you again.

Great stay for a group of good friends
This was a perfect house for a group of old friends and their mostly teenaged kids. We enjoyed the awesome pool w water slide and spa and loved having so much great outdoor space. The interior is well-appointed with very comfy beds and lots of entertainment options. The 9 pm curfew might have been a problem in the summer but since sunset is at 445 pm now, no one felt like hanging out late anyway. El Cajon is a bit out of the way but it’s a very easy drive to all of the fun things in the SD area.

Beautiful property and well done for a dreamy vacation
The property and layout of the house did not disappoint. The pool area with the waterfall and swim up bar were very relaxing and beautifully done. The house has tons of space for everyone to have their own events going on or if you want some quiet time to read a book this is easy to do. The owner was very responsive to repair requests and very helpful which made the vacation enjoyable. The only surprise for me was the area that you have to drive thru to get there was a bit disappointing and in no way comparable to this beautiful oasis.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was great to work with and everyone that came was happy we booked. Our only complaint is the curfew. 9pm is really early to go inside, especially with such a nice backyard. It is well documented in the listing, but something to be extra aware of.

An amazing 40th Birthday
This was definitely the nicest rental I’ve ever stayed in an probably ever will. We came to celebrate a 40th bday and had family flying in from across the country, and it was such a memorable few days. We had 5 families all staying together and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together and also to escape each other. Everything felt very clean and well maintained. The 5pm check in felt pretty late to us, but the house cleaners were able to let us in the house by 4pm. The backyard and pool is where we spent all our time and it was as spectacular as it looked in the pictures. The daily heating charge is hefty, but we opted in because we had toddlers and babies with us that needed the warmth. I had reached out ahead of time to Gabe to request a temporary fence be installed around the pool for toddler safety, and he agreed to have his handyman install one for us, that felt really above and beyond. We are so grateful for the memories we got to make with our family here.

This property was great! We had 15 adults, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Gabe was easy to get ahold of. We loved the outdoor area, great entertaining space! Perfect spot for large groups.

Beautiful property with all the amenities that are private yet close to all of the sightseeing adventures in San Diego. The hosts were always available for communication when needed and were accommodating to all requests. I will book again when coming back to the area.

Amazing time in El Cajon!
This property is so beautiful and newly refurnished. Host was incredible in terms of hospitality and communication. House was full of all the essentials. We had a very large group and never ran out of toilet paper or towels. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view. Great location. So many fun activities around the property. 10/10 experience we plan on coming back next year!

It was very nice dealing with owner of property. House was clean, stocked and better then we hoped. House is kinda hard tonl get to but after first time it's no issue. Loved the pool, hot tub and tennis courts. Lots to do. If you message owner you hear back very quickly. I'd recommend to anyone looking for higher end house in San Diego area.

This property has it all!
What a truly amazing property with amenities out the wazoo! So much to do right onsite! The beds were comfy, and the owner provided paper products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish detergent, laundry detergent, as well as a wide assortment of spices/oils. Plenty of space to all hang together or separate for some quiet time! Only 2 negatives - couldn't find any steak knives apart from the butcher block knives and the 9 am - 9 pm curfew was a bummer!! That really needs to be included in the listing! Property was about 25 minutes from everywhere we were interested in visiting, but we knew that before booking. Gabe has done a great job providing all that everyone could wish for and more during their stay. We felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Be careful if bringing small pets, though - we heard a VERY loud coyote one night, sounding like it was right outside in the immediate yard.

Home away from home
We took our family on vacation for our animals. We had 9 adults and 7 kids. The house had plenty of room for us all! We went to Sea World and the safari zoo and it was a doable drive to both! The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed the outdoor eating area. We made all our meals there because of all our young kids and the kitchen was well stocked. I’d bring some towels and paper goods, but we were there for 5 days. Gabe was great to communicate with and accommodating to a couple of requests that I had. Bring big spray as there are mosquitoes. Propane bottles were both empty, but I’m sure if I would have told Gabe, he would have taken care of it. Thank you for a fabulous time! Family time is special and your house became a home!

The house and grounds were better than advertised! Lots of room both inside and outside. The pool, waterfall, slide, swim up bar and hot tub were a hit with everyone. Plenty of room to spread out, televisions by the pool and living areas worked great, house A/C cooled everything off nicely, and plenty of easy parking for guests. Gabe was responsive to requests/questions and was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend renting this location!

Labor Day Birthday Weekend
Great properrty for a group. I hosted my birthday with family and friends and we all enjoyed the pool, slide and jacuzzi. The inside of the home is updated and all the beds were comfy. We had a chef come and cook us dinner and the kitchen well accommodated his needs. Lots of fun games and great TVs and everyone loved the swim up bar. Gabe communicated great with us as we navigated a few things too. We definitely had a great weekend celebrating together.

Bachelor Party Weekend
This property is amazing for big groups of people that want to utilize the amenities provided. I had a group of 15 groomsmen/friends to help celebrate my bachelor party weekend and it was great. We spent Friday from ~4-8 PM and Saturday from ~11 AM - 8PM utilizing the backyard and pool. During the night times we traveled to PB for the bars and downtown for clubs, the location of the property made it a little bit of a trip to the bars/clubs but it was worth it for the amenities the property had (space, beds, pool, etc). The only concern we had as a group was the rule regarding no Bluetooth speakers used anytime during day or night. We did end up using a Bluetooth speaker outdoors during the day at moderate sound levels to be respectful of neighbors and had no problems. At nighttime we moved indoors. Like any VRBO you stay at, just try not to be a jerk and blast music louder than what you really need to be respectful of the neighbors. The only things I would make sure to keep in mind is location and pricing since it is a little further from downtown and on the pricier side depending how many guests you have attending.

Navneet, your reservation was for 13 people, and you showed up with close to 30. You then covered all my security cameras with towels upon check in thinking I wouldn't notice the extra guests. You proceeded to blast music from a commercial grade speaker by the pool and were screaming and yelling, acting more belligerent than a college fraternity party! This was all within the first 2 hours of check in. I told you I would need you to leave with this type of behavior and the 10+ people that weren't on the reservation. You assured me you would respect the property and neighbors, so I begrudgingly allowed you to stay hoping for the best and giving you benefit of the doubt. For the next 3 days, you fabricated complaint after complaint. Every time I attempted to resolve the "issue" with the property you told me to wait until you checked out. On your final night my neighbors threatened to call the cops because you were partying in the pool till 2am blasting music from your commercial speaker acting like a bunch of college frat kids once again. Then after you checked out you attempted to extort me by threatening me with a 1 start review if I didn't refund you! You trashed the property, pissed off my entire neighborhood, jeopardizing this listing and property. You were the most disrespectful, unscrupulous guest I've ever had. You are not welcome back anytime and I truly hope you change your ways for the sake of future hosts who are unlucky enough to allow you in their home like I was.

The place is just as advertised, the outdoor amenities are excellent and spent nearly our entire time outside. The pool and hot tub kept the adults and kids entertained essentially the entire time. The only disappointing aspect was the 9pm 'curfew', but can appreciate that the owners do not wish to upset the neighbors. No less, we fully intend to visit the property in the future.

Our whole family really liked all the options for outside games to play. Gabe was prompt in replying to my guestions. The pool with the slide was a big hit. And the spa was great too. Perfect house for our family vacation!
We had a really great week! My 12 year old said, “Every day was a blast. There were so many things to do and so many places in proximity with the house. The beds were comfy, the house was clean, and the pool was always heated. It was great!” Gabe was easy to contact and the place was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful, morning and evening. The Rockstar Villa actually lived up to the expectation set in the photos and description. We had an awesome stay and the property is near perfect for a larger group or family reunion type stay. All the amenities even down to the fire features on top of the waterfall are in working order which honestly we were wondering if they would be. Even the water slide is actually pretty fun for adults, be careful your first slide down that last turn is pretty fast which is a rarity for any home water slide I've ever used. The setup and layout of the property is near perfect in my opinion, there is just about every game you could imagine to keep you entertained, and there are both small areas for people to gather as well as large areas both indoors and out, which made for big group fun while still having places to get a little space from the rest of the group. We all really loved it. Appliances like the grill and TV by the swim up bar are all great quality, there are also two ovens inside which was really helpful for making meals. Its hard to really list any draw backs, but I will say the extra cost to heat the pool was frustrating, maybe they will drop that in the future, and second would be that even though there are plenty of plates glasses and silverware, we could have used some additional coffee mugs and some serving dishes. Other than that, everything was spot on, plenty of towels and the house was very clean for our arrival. The host was also extremely responsive and gave great clear directions for check in and check out. Our entire group has been raving about how great this find was, and I highly recommend booking it for your next stay in the San Diego area.

Amazing rental property
From owner communication to the cleanliness and through the whole experience - this property is first class. There is literally nothing we could find that would even be a suggestion to improve the stay we had and are already planning a return trip to the San Diego area to stay and enjoy it some more. This may seem like an over the top “fake” review but this place and it’s management is just that damn good.

Stunning House!
Decided to have a pre-Labor Day get away and found this beautiful property in El Cajon. The property did not disappoint. We felt we were in a resort! Enough room for everyone to spread out, the kitchen had everything we needed and the pool area was so relaxing! Highly recommend
