I found the Nova Inn to be acceptable but nothing special. The Inn is located in the middle of an industrial / truck stop area. It's convenient from the driving standpoint, but hardly a place to go for the view. The Inn seems a bit worn. There are some things (outside) that need repair (e.g., some one ran into the concrete blocks around the front door pillars, no telling how long ago). The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas were plain but clean. My room was large, clean, and well-maintained. I knew it when I booked the room, but: There is no breakfast included, nor is the neighboring restaurant open for breakfast. Net: It was OK, but not a place for a special trip.

Terrific staff, they were all very friendly, the hotel however was horrible. Cigarette burns in all of the linens, requested smoke free room but was certainly not given one. I was so stuffed up and had a headache for the entirety of my stay because of the strong cigarette odour. Was dirty having finding little black hairs amongst the towels, face cloths, pillows, bathtub and piling up in the bathroom corners.. extremely dusty and yellow smoke damage throughout the whole room. Was very loud, could not sleep with all the loud banging and semi trucks coming/going constantly. The "Duke's Bar & Grill" attached to it was amazing though definitely worth checking that out, delectable food!

The reception was slow, waited more than 5 minutes for check-in, and the room cleanliness left much to be desired. The toilet was unflushed, and two lights were out. It felt like I was assigned a spare room, tucked away

The hotel is older and needs some renovations done. The main carpets are old and stained. Room was clean but I had asked for a non-smoking room on the main floor because I had my dog with me. I got a non-smoking room but it was surrounded by smoking rooms so I could smell smoke all the time. Not a great fit for me or my 3 year old daughter.
