I booked a room for my better halfs 40th birthday present as we had both never been to Dublin. I chose the hotel because it looked like it was half way between Dublin airport and the city centre ... and it was! The room was lovely, the staff were really nice and their knowledge and great manner has already lead us to recommend the hotel to friends (we only got home this morning!)
Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced 9.50Euro for a full buffet, tea and juice. 10 minute bus ride into town but have the right change!!!! There is a freedom card which allows you to travel on the sight seeing tours, local bus and airport bus which we didn't know about but it was 2.60 for a single to town so not too bad.
The only downside was the noise. The coaches in the morning were outside our window and although we were on the 4th floor, it was really loud! The walls are also quite thin so you can hear everyone getting up, going for a pee, getting locked out of their room ... not quite what you need after a night out in Dublin.
Long a short of it is, great hotel, great staff and great facilities if you want somewhere to eat and sleep ... will definitely be back! Thanks for a great weekend.
