“Will return here”
Excellent hotel opposite the Museum and close to all the old Dubai. Also very near the bus stop for the Hop on and Off Tour around the City. Within walking distance of the creek and the Gold Souk
“A Superb Hotel!”
We arived at the hotel at around 8 30 in the morning and although the check in wasn't until the mid afternoon they gave us a key for one of the rooms immediately with the other ready in half an hour. All the staff were extremely helpful and saw to our needs very well, they always had a smile on their face from the manager to the cleaners. The pool although not large was very nice and the restaurants that we tried were very nice. They even stored our baggage after we had checked out ( we were getting a late flight and didnt really want to carry loads of bags around with us all day. One thing to watch out for, the travel agent on the ground floor charged us around 900 dirhams for a safari tour but the price only came to 450 dirhams for the actual tour. maening that he charged a commision of 450 dirhams. But apart from that a very very enjoyable stay.
“great hotel, lovely atmosphere, excellent location”
great service, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere spotless rooms with easily adjustable a/c and little extras provided (sewing kits, hair conditioner, shoe horns, bubble bath etc) excellent location, right on the bus tour route , directly opposite the museum and a lovely walk to the Abra (boat) stations and close to the Indian area with some great cheap but delicious restaurants
“très agréable sejour, accueil irreprochable”
personnel de l'hotel vraiment très sympatique, cadre depaysant et entretenu...
“Absolutely Beyond Expectations”
This was a birthday treat to celebrate my 30th birthday and we(husband and I )looked forward to having a wonderful time with our eighteen month old son. The hotel was the epitome of a real arabian dream with typical arabian-theme decor. The staff are extremely courteous and ready to help each time we needed assistance. They even got me a birthday cake...excellent strategy to ensure customer satisfaction!!!We were very impressed and swore we will definitely come back. One more thing, though the hotel is rated four star...the service is simply five star!
“Wouldn't hesitate to go back”
My husband and I booked this hotel for 5 night short break. Was glad we picked this hotel in the old part of Dubai as we got a feel for the 'real' Dubai. Hotel is straight across the road from the Museum & if you buy a full day ticket on the hop on-off bus (old London bus), entry to the museum and other attractions is free - worth the 20 per head & you can spend the whole day sightseeing. Hotel excellent - room was 'delux' & clean & spacious with bedding & towels & maid service daily. Room service cheap & Breakfast buffet is great - best point about the hotel though is the Indian Restaurant - absolute treat to the tastebuds and the staff were wonderful. Mexican restaurant downstairs good value also. Getting around by taxi is cheap. For the ladies - being in the older part of Dubai with fewer Westerners, I did feel more comfortable being modestly dressed -when we went down to the Creek to get the abra across with the locals there appeared to be a lot of males around and not so many females. However it is ok to be in bikini on the beach. Hotel bus to beach free & goes 9.45 a& back at 1.45 - hotel even give you a beach mat & towel to use on beach. We went 23 May & temperature was 43degrees - not recommended to sunbathe for long - apparently gets up to 52 degrees mid summer. Had a great time in a hotel where staff we courteous & friendly and would go back again - but in Winter.
“Very impressed, fab hotel, fab staff, love Dubai, fab people.”
Could not fault this hotel at all, highly recommended. Great location. Fab Staff.
“Great Hotel”
This was my first trip to Dubai and I was very impressed with the Hotel. The Staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you. All restaurants in the Hotel were great. Tea and cakes were served by two fantastic Lady's in the Lobby Area at a very reasonable price.
“Please send me back! Soon!”
Well-appointed room, excellent restaurants and bar within the hotel, friendly and very helpful staff. Couldn't have been better. Good shuttle service to and from the airport - book your pick-up when you make your reservation and there will be someone at the airport with your name on a placard! One minute from the Dubai Museum, five from Dubai Creek and the Fabric Souk. Can't wait to go back again!
“One of the best in Dubai”
This hotel is fantastic. My wife an I travelled to dubai for the first time and the hotel made the experience sweet from the start to the end. The hotel staff are excellent extremely polite and attentive even when busy. Kevin the concierge was great, knew everything and how to handle things for you. We are both asians and so the location of the hotel is fantastic as it is so close to the Meena Bazaar and the souks. The museum is across the street with a giant ship erected on it. Great views. Can't wait to go again and would like to thank the staff again!
