"The DW motel is conveniently located on the Main Street in downtown Koror. It is a no-frills, economy hotel in a convenient lopcation, and as long as you are not looking for resort amenities (and price!), this place is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful, and very good responding to inquiries. We were looking for a convenient, inexpensive, place to catch some sleep while waiting for a midnight flight home, and this place filled that role perfectly."

You can ask them to make dinner too, they arrange transport to downtown area or trips around the island. You can rent kayaks and launch it front of the house, where you can also go snorkeling. "The hotel manager Mr Oya is very helpful provided all the information you need. The room is large and location is excellent 5 mins walk to downtown center. For divers, the hotel also provide washing station for your gear cleaning, very convenance. Room is very clean, the hotel service is great! I highly recommended if you come to Palau stay with Garden place in Koror, you won't be disappointed ! "

The location is near shops and dining... you get to experience island culture and life! I am sure one can opt for one of the "resort hotels", but that's would be missing a whole lot of the experience in Palau, IMO."

"The pool was very enjoyable especially at night and the breakfast buffet gave us western and Asian options which was very interesting. The facilities were very clean and up to date. My only concern related to the lack of elevators for the second level. We had heavy dive bags, and it was a challenge getting everything up and down to our room. This is the best place to stay in Palau, and we would return."
