"Everything was great about bushman’s. Staff were friendly and kind and the cabins were beautiful and modern. Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was a trainee at the desk who kept being left by himself and he clearly hadn’t yet been trained in some of the basic info so made it a bit difficult to get clear answers but he was lovely and tried very hard to help. Otherwise, no complaints "

"The hotel has been closed since November 2017 , we had to find alternative accommodation late at night after a long drive , you need to contact me urgently re a refund plus costs , I am currently still on holiday and will be in a position to resolve this very disappointing experience next week Monday , how on earth can you advertise a hotel , take my money in advance , when the establishment has been closed for 5 months ! "I always go to the Lodge during December. I have been doing so for the past 6 years. The cleanliness and comfort are still pleasing. Im not happy about the quality of the food though, especially the breakfast and the buffet. The food was bland with limited choices. Change the chef and bring more variety to the food, please. The standard has been going down over the years, but the price per night has been steadily going up"

The owners were so accomodating, and even allowed us to extend our stay for a few hours at no extra charge, since we only arrived in the evening- long past their check-in deadline.
