    "Great Find"
This centrally located hotel was a great find for our 2 days in Amman. Though basic in accommodation style, it was the place we received the warmest, most genuine welcome (saying a lot in a culture where we received kind welcomes most everywhere!) We were in walking distance to everything we would want to see. The staff offered great suggestions for dining, routes, and were available to help with any concern. The rooms are basic, but the people there made up for the lack of luxury in furnishing. We felt safe, there was a/c in the room, hot water in the shower, floors and bedding clean and elevator to the upper floors. When we would take tea in the adjoining restaurant/coffee house, it was like being around family. We watched people dance to local music; travelers engage in stories and guitar playing; we met interesting travelers from other parts of the world...Would recommend this as a place to chill, get a good vibe for what is happening locally and use as a home base while exploring Amman. If you are looking for a cookie cutter big hotel experience that keeps you a bit distant, this isn't the place for you. If you enjoy meeting people, exploring, and getting out into the vibe of the city, this is a great place to do it from. We really appreciated our experience here.

    "Great Hotel"
Upon check in I revived an upgraded room with a secluded pool that was shared by only 3 other rooms. It was nice but not useful to me as there are more than 5 different pools to go swimming in, not to mention the dead sea itself. The infinity pool was amazing, clean, had good music playing in the background. The hotel staff walked around with free fruit skewers and one guy would come by every hour and clean your sunglasses for you. The breakfast buffet was filled with a wide selection of everything you could imagine including sparkling wine. The staff were very sweet and helpful with all our requests. The Spa was one of the best experiences my wife and I had. There was couple of heated pools, one with water from the dead sea, and the massages were given by 2 professionals ladies who did a great job. Overall atmosphere of the spa was to die for. I am definitely going back to this place!

I ended up staying 3 nights at the Movenpick and was delighted with the service and facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and the bed comfortable. I enjoyed the beach and hot tub two mornings and found the breakfast buffet good. I would stay again.
