"The hotel seems to cater for mainly Russians. The all inclusive concept available seems to bring down the quality of what would be an incredible hotel. Would be nice to have some English children’s channels seeing as the hotel is meant to cater for families. The pools by the afternoon were dirty - rubbish, food and hair and a thin sheet of what looks like a combination of dirt and sunscreen floating around the edges in the big family pool. "We stayed here 10 years ago and wanted to return to visit nearby sights. Its fine as accomodation goes but the staff were a little distant... We now know the hotel is closing for refurb in June and new ownership once that is complete, so next year we assume. I think it maybe doesn't fit with the Anantara brand any longer ! "Same staff members were amazing though: the buggy cart driver that took us from the bungalow to the parking with our luggage was genuinely showing interest in our stay. Also we did a hike to a nearby camel farm through the sand dunes, guided by the pool life guard. The hike through the dunes was really fun and the guide was great! It’s also worth pointing out that this activity was included in the all inclusive package which was a nice touch."

"Our stay was truly delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would eagerly return. Nulen (apologies if we've misspelled the name) at the reception desk was an absolute gem. She greeted us warmly, efficiently arranged our breakfast reservations, and was always on hand to assist with transportation, making our stay even more enjoyable. Her exceptional hospitality left a lasting impression on us. The only disappointment was discovering that the beach club was closed :( While we recognize that this is beyond the hotel's control, it was, ironically, the allure of the beach club that drew us to choose the Sheraton for our stay."
