This smoke-free Daytona Beach hotel is four miles from the shops and restaurants of Ocean Walk Village, 7.5 miles from Daytona Beach Airport, and 10 miles from Daytona International Speedway.
The contemporary nine-story Emerald Shores Resort overlooks the Atlantic on one side, and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. The lobby is a soothing, cream-colored space, highlighted with tropical plantings; glass-topped tables; and casual, Caribbean-influenced furnishings.
On the ocean side of the building, an outdoor swimming pool and spa tub are positioned just off the beach. Guests have access to a nearby fitness center and there are other nearby sporting activities that include watersports as well as golf, biking, horseback riding, and ice-skating. Local tourist options include helicopter sightseeing.
Within the hotel, a third floor meeting room accommodates up to 42 people. A complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access computer station is available in public areas. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available.

The hotel's 84 spacious rooms and suites all have water views, either of the Atlantic Ocean or the Intracoastal Waterway (also known as the Halifax River). Rooms and suites feature tropical print bedding, contemporary wood furnishings, and blue-gray carpeting. Ocean-view rooms offer private balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows. All rooms contain cable TVs, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access and large bathrooms with granite countertops. Some offer kitchens or kitchenettes. Please note: All rooms and suites are nonsmoking.

“Great anniversary destination”
My husband and I stayed for our sixth anniversary and the hotel was exquisite. The staff was super friendly and the hotel was much more than we expected for the deal we got through Expedia. We've stayed at many hotels in Daytona and for the price it was by far the best. Even though the weather was a bit chilly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our room was fabulous.

Elevator worked like charm, room air was comfortable, easy checkin and checkout, guest laundry was nice, good sleeping motel bed.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and had our room ready before check-in time. The hotel was really clean, including our room. The room was also very spacious and we had a beautiful view from our oceanfront room. Convienient location right on the beach. I will be staying there again and recommend it for other travelers.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The view was great. Some reviews we read were negative but we found this to be a hidden gem. We will definitely go back when we can stay longer. The minute we walked in the staff was very helpful and the hotel was nice and clean.
