Booked last minute but checked in at 6pm. Nothing says great service like during peak hours a doorbell on the front desk that says ring for service. The hotel was overall fine, nothing remarkable but also nothing disastrous. Value was ok and it was nicer than the low end motels. Frankly I did expect more from a Sandman hotel but it would not stop me from booking again if the price was right.

Our itinerary changed and we needed 1 less night. We asked the front desk staff at check in about changing our reservation but because we booked with Expedia they told us we had to deal with them. We asked Expedia who said ask the hotel staff. We ended up paying for an extra night longer than we needed as a result since no one wanted to help. Our room heat was not working. The unit only blew cold air so it was cooler than we’d have liked. Overall the hotel was fine and clean and the staff were very friendly and generally helpful with the exception of the heat and early check out situation, they didn’t seem very interested in that.

The room was clean, very adequate for a one night stay. I did not use the pools but I did have a delicious breakfast at the attached Denny’s. The staff was very friendly at checkin and at check out.

Everything was good at check in and we walk to a restaurant for dinner , and then back to our room , 9:30-10:00pm kids were running up and down hallways till late and a dog was barking, 5:30 am dog starts barking again it’s pretty sad when people don’t respect that others are in there to just plan ignorant

Ended up sick because the window where so old and draftey, the heater couldn’t keep the room warm, in -20 weather , do not recommend staying their , as it had the worlds smallest bathroom ,

For the price we paid for the room, with taxes included *200 dollars , would at least be nice to have breakfast included! On top of that, the building inside looked like it will collapse any minute!! Quite disappointed , as pictures online made it look so "nice"..

Hotel was older, smaller rooms and bathrooms, staircase slants a lot plus no elevator so make sure to request a main floor room if you need any kind of accessibility accommodations. The bathroom tap leaked and the toilet did not always flush. Pool was closed, sounds like it has been for months with no intent to reopen, should be taken off the website as an amenity. We checked the website before booking and it was not clear that the pool was closed or we would have booked elsewhere, very disappointing for a week long family vacation. The room cleaning is set up by request only, but when you place the placard on your door you just get fresh towels, extra soaps and empty garbages. Can be challenging for a week long vacation with kids when trying to also keep floors clean and beds remade regularly. Also, the internet is intermittent and cuts out regularly. The staff seemed nice and friendly but we did get a snarky note left when we tried to have some dirty dishes cleared away without putting the cleaning request on the door.

Booked with this property for the pool just to arrive and its closed for repair. No where before check-in was this info avalible. Went to have a bath and it was covered in hair. Everything else was lovely. Very disappointing and over priced with no pool. I will say we drove across the country and every tub had hair.
