A very peaceful setting

The property is a beautiful old farmhouse that now has several lovely guest rooms, all in keeping with the tuscan style of the area. Front desk service was excellent from all 4 of the people we met (they recommended restaurants, sight seeing stops, vineyards, etc---all were great!). They were always making sure we had a great time. The grounds are expansive and beautiful also-- we took several walks, and also enjoyed the pool. Quiet, safe, true italian villa experience.

Beautifully restored property. Great staff! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and served in a glass room behind the main building. Great location for touring Tuscany.

Beautiful countryside hotel with friendly staff
Wonderful country side hotel, very friendly staff - they even went into town and got lunch for us.. Close to Cortona (10 min by car) with many restaurants and a nice atmosphere. The pool was nice too!

Probably okay when it is fully open!
Very disappointing. We chose it for a hot September day because of the pool (closed for the season), the restaurant (closed tonight, no explanation), and the wifi (not working in the room). None of this was mentioned when they accepted our booking and so it did not meet our needs and was an expensive for simply a bed for the night. Maybe I should have asked, but their listing clearly shows all of these facilities.

Heaven is a place on earth!
We spent a wonderful 6 nights at this hotel at the end of our honeymoon and we could not have asked for more. The staff a fantastic, the location to die for (although you will need a car) and the pool is heaven. Breakfast 'could do better' but there are no complaints from us. We had just a normal room as we booked very last minute after a terrible hotel the night before so or next time we would book a little apartment. A big thank you to all at the hotel for a fabulous end to our honeymoon xxxx

Lovely area amongst orchards , however even though the chef runs a cooking school here NEVER have dinner here. No hot water , no water pressure. Poor 4 star rating is misleading

Outstanding!
This was the best hotel experience of our lives! This is a beautiful old Italian farmhouse that has been completely remodeled but preserves all of the charm. A bit difficult to find, but worth it. The staff was the best staff we have ever seen in a hotel, and we travel a lot. We stayed 5 nights and got to feel we were friends with all of them. They treated us like family and were ever ready to assist if we needed it, i.e., helping us map out our week of activities, recommending restaurants, advice on getting around, etc. Friendly but never intrusive, as we were on our second honeymoon. Nice pool and complimentary breakfast. Great location in Tuscany, the countryside is beautiful here and lots of vineyards and old towns to visit. You get the real feel of Italy here. We loved it. We actually hugged the staff when we left--I've never met a nicer group of people. We'll definitely be back again and again. Perfect!

Quiet country setting
Se enjoyed our one night stay. We were greeted in front of the hotel by the concierge upon our arrival. The rooms and e erythingelse was very clean,the staff friendly and attentive. We did not stay long enough to see much of the grounds, but what we saw was very pleasant.

Excellent Lodging - Quiet country setting.
We visited the lovely hill town of Cortona when we stayed at Relais Borgo San Pietro and Siena is reachable by car for a days outing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable. It is a great place to stay and relax after the crowds of Rome and Venice. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed another day on our way back from a road trip further south.

Beautiful traditional hotel
Hotel is very difficult to find especially in the night. Google maps takes you to a point some way from the actual hotel. Sign posts are not great. Hotel grounds and pool are traditional Tuscan and beautifully maintained. Wi-fi is good addition.

A country place with comfort
This is a charming little Borgo in the country side just below Cortona. The rooms are fresh and clean. The staff is very attentive. There is breakfast, a bar and free wi-fi. Best thing is the gardens and grounds. We only stayed one night, but would go again and would encourage anyone to stay there.

Country Comfort
This is a very nice country inn/hotel. It is down "the hill" about 10-15 min by car from Cortona but there is ample parking outside the Cortona city walls for your car when you go there to see the village. The room we had was large and very comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. The grounds are beautiful and the morning breakfast choices were good.

Great Experience with nice surprise
We had a great stay, staff was very nice and we had a very pleasant dinner the day we arrived. Local wine was delicious and the food was very tasteful. Breakfast was also great. Cortona is very charming and we ate also at a very nice restaurant called Dardanos.

Acceptable but not exciting
This is a pleasant, small relais located in the countryside just outside of Cortona. Although billed as 4 star hotel it is really more like a 3 star b&b. The service is occasional and unreliable although friendly. Our room was small, had few amenities and the closet was totally unusable. The best part is the setting within olive groves and a wonderful swimming pool with a great view over Tuscan hills.

Relais Borgo San Pietro - a perfect Tuscan Inn
This is a beautiful Tuscan Inn - a place to truly unwind during an Italy vacation. Scents of lavender, marvelous breakfast (homemade yogurt), a pool overlooking the Italian countryside and a beautifully furnished room created a perfect respite for us. Luciane (front desk) was a wonderful host. We will never forget her or our time spent at Relais Borgo San Pietro.

Relais Borgo San Pietro was absolutely charming- very attentive staff, wonderful breakfast in a picture-perfect room- we hated to check out. Have always stayed at another farmhouse inn, but will return here, for sure. Very close to the market on Sat. mornings- one of our reasons for coming to Cortona.

Welcomed as we stepped out of the car by a warm smile and greeting from the lovely Italian receptionist who was oh so charming. Lovely set up in very large gardens and large pool i tranquil setting. Breakfasts were just right with prompt service from yet another lovely and cute staff member who was full of smiles and happy to help. Very spacious room with good pillows and large comfy bed, nice en-suite that was immaculately clean with the nicest toiletries. All in all a very nice hotel that we are happy to recommend and will return to. Reception staff were very helpful with advice about where to park what restaurants to try and places to look at and view from.

This hotel is very pretty with lovely grounds. We were there in April so the outside terraces & swimming pool were not really useful. It is quiet & picturesque but not the most convenient in terms of location. While the room was very attractive, it was hard to use with hardly any horizontal space upon which to place your personal items. The room was immaculate & the bathroom well appointed. Signage could be a bit better at a distance & the dirt driveway/road surprised us.The staff was very friendly. This would be a great place for family or for someone who wished to use the grounds for a rest/relaxation visit. Cortona is nearby but one definitely needs a car.

Excellent stay, beautiful place
We had a wonderful time there. The facility is great and the staff was wonderful and extremely helpful with everything we asked them about. Happy to recommend and make dinner reservations and driving directions. They even helped us when we had issues with our mobile phones. Well located for everything you want to do in Cortona, Tuscany and Umbria, being close to the major highways.

Beautiful grounds & pool, great rooms, nice people, perfect location for Cortona (5 min drive) and surrounding hill towns. Would definitely stay again. They also own a place in Cortona proper (no grounds), next to which is the best restaurant in town.

Wonderful place
This hotel gives you a real Tuscany feeling, staff is great (they even carried our lugage to the room) and you feel on the country side while having all conforts from the city (plasma tv, air conditioning, hot water, etc). The room and bathrom are nicely decorated, very clean and confortable. Breakfast is great (and staff serves well) and you can have it at the most beatiful garden (wich are all wonderful). Parking is free (city is 5 minutes by car - well located) and there is also a nice pool. I highly recommended.

Positiv: schöne Lage, sehr nettes Personal, sehr schöner Poolbereich. Negativ: auf dem Gelände derzeit nur Frühstücksangebot und danach Getränke verfügbar, für Abendessen muss man mit dem Auto rausfahren. Mehr Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten (Outdoor-Betten etc.) wären wünschenswert.

Gelungener Ferienabschluss
Es ist ein tolles Hotel mit einer tollen Poolanlage. Leider gab es einen Temperatursturz und in der Nacht war es etwas kalt im Zimmer, trotz der Rosshaar-Decke und die Heizung war noch nicht eingeschalten. Ansonsten war es ein toller, erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Solo la location non basta.
In questa struttura solo per una notte. Location molto bella immersa nella natura e ben curata. Quello che nel mio caso non è andato proprio bene è stata la camera.Piccolissima per una matrimoniale a stento riuscivamo a muoverci attorno al letto. Mancava il posto dove appoggiare i bagagli e nel bagno perfino un appoggio per i propri effetti. La ventola del bagno rumorosa sempre accesa sono dovuto intervenire sul quadro elettrico per escluderla.Scarso livello di insonorizzazione tra camere. I cuscini del letto troppo bassi.La colazione al mattino di buona qualità ma scarsa in varietà assenza della frutta.Bello il giardino e la piscina .Peccato proprio per il resto.

Meraviglioso relax
Splendido borghetto nelle vicinanze di Cortona. La differenza la fanno la piscina (circondata da un prato verdissimo con sdraio e ombrelloni per tutti gli ospiti) e la colazione nel giardino esterno. Servizio primo e comoda navetta per il centro del paese.

Bonita Villa cerca de Cortona. Ideal para visita.
El entorno en el que está la Villa es ideal, muchos jardines, buenas vistas a Cortona. Piscina tranquila para relajarse. Habitación amplia y comoda. Se puede dormir perfectamente. Quizas la altura de la bañera algo excesiva para personas mayores o no muy altas. El personal muy amable, nos dieron indicaciones para cenar en Cortona. Es ideal para visitar los pueblos de los alrededores.
