Stayed just one night but very convenient. Across from the Østerport train and metro station. Rooms clean and tidy. Trains noise not too bad, looks like thick glass and ear plugs provided on the night stands but didn’t need them.

This was an intresting one as I have never stayed at a hotel without clothes hangers EVER and no fridge or safe either. Poor in my opinion for a hotel in this price range. Breakfast didn’t have much choice but you could tell it was quality and if you’re a light sleeper then this hotel isn’t for you as trains thunder past all night, next to train track. Never had the cleaners come to the room at all in four days and I had to empty the bin myself. All in all this hotel isn’t for me though it’s a 25 minute direct train to airport, very easy indeed.

The hotel was so convenient, clean, and friendly staff. The room was was comfortable with a window and quiet. It is right across from the Østerport train station so very convenient for getting all around Copenhagen. The breakfast buffet is extra but a good deal and has a variety of fresh food. There is also a small bar area. It is walking distance to the citadel park, little mermaid, and about a mile walk to Rosenborg Castle or Amailiasborg. The only down side is you can hear the trains pass by so if you need absolute quiet to sleep it might not work.

When we booked our stay, we were happy that the hotel is close to the train station, but our happiness went away when we arrived and realized that right under our window there is a ralliway. We were in a ground flor, so the noise of all those trains was really loud. Even though the hotel offers an earplugs, we would not stay here again for this price.

An excellent location for public transport. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean but quite basic. The bedside shelves were tiny and there were no USB points. The shower good but there were no shelves in the bathroom or in the shower.

Excellent location across the station. Bit noisy with trains. Comfortable and well priced. There are no restaurants close by apart from 7-11 and Espresso House though very accessible by train.

Hotel Østerport was the perfect place for us to take the train or metro to wherever we needed. Easy access to the city and our trip to Malmö. The girl at the front desk (so sorry I didn't catch your name) was so kind and recommended many local places to eat for breakfast, pastries, and smørrebrød. We went to as many of her suggestions as we could and each one was DELICIOUS. We also happened to be in town as Frederik X succeeded the throne, and with her help, we were able to see he and the former Queen during the procession. Highly recommend this hotel. Additionally any noise from the trains is very low and I would even say relaxing. 5/5 Stars

Good hotel. Nice location.
Hotel is well located. Staff on reception are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The only obvious thing to mention is the trains! Of you stay on the railway side you can hear them! There's no restaurant at the hotel but there's plenty of places around to eat out. Breakfast is good. The only issue we found was there wasn't many staff about at breakfast time and we found that the coffee machines weren't that reliable and they weren't great at keeping things stocked up but once you found someone to ask they sorted the issues out quickly enough.

Hotel Østerport is located conveniently With Train and metro right across the street .Perfect for going to the airport as well. The Rooms are clean and fine for a night Or 2 , But it is noisy With the Train Tracks right there. They serve a good breakfast and the people are super nice .

The location is perfect to walk around Copenhagen. The train is across the street along with the local grocery. The front desk isn't the most forthcoming when you arrive, so be prepared to ask for the information you need. For travelers who expect to be provided info upon checki in like Wifi, what the amenities are, if breakfast is included, etc, the front desk wont automatically give that info to you. The front desk will assume you have the info you need already. Also as a 2 star hotel [and a very good one at that], there is no coffee machine, refrigerator nor microwave in the rooms. You have a kettle for boiling water for instant coffee or tea. You can also buy brewed coffee at the front desk or at the grocery store across the street.

GREAT EXPERIENCE
Great hotel. Great location and very convenient to the train station. Staff was great and helpful. I have seen complaints about noise, but that didn't affect me...maybe if you are an extremely light sleeper. The breakfast buffet was absolutely great. The food was plentiful and of very high quality. Their apple juice can't be beat!!! I would highly recommend this hotel

Great centrally located hotel
This was a great hotel--very centrally located and easy to walk to Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid and many other attractions. Very eco-friendly. It's directly across the street from the train station so easy access to/from the airport. It is by the train station, so it can be a bit loud. However, the trains slow way down at night and we really didn't notice an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Nowhere does it advertise No Air Conditioning. Our room was next to the main train station tracks. We had to keep the window open for ventilation and the noise was terrible all night long. This property does not have an elevator that was not included in the advertising.

Beautiful hotel. The lack of elevators was a bit disappointing with the luggage, but the staircases were short. No air conditioning was a bit disappointing, but the fan in the room did a decent job making up for it.

The staff was very friendly & helpful, the bed were comfortable. There was no mention that 7 or 9 train tracks ran alongside our window, they ran 24 hrs. They did provide ear plugs, not helpful. There was no room temperature control so we opened the window, no other option. Shower water was warm, not hot. Lighting in the room was almost non existent

Reasonably comfortable room, though a ridiculously long walk to get to it and an incredibly uncomfortable mattress that killed my back. Room not properly clean, careless. Good service from the front desk. Conveniently situated.

Excellent stay at Hotel Osterport. Everything was great and a good price. I loved the convenient location. Luckily I was aware of the train noise before booking and that wasn’t a concern to me.

The hotel was pretty great, and conveniently located. The breakfast was excellent and the trains next door were not really an issue. My only complaint would be the long walk to our room, which was probably 200m from the front door.

Let me settle the noise issue. The hotel is literally beside the train station and tracks. There are trains that pass it. I sleep normally pretty soundly and had zero issue with the trains. If you are a light sleeper or have issues with noise then maybe consider earplugs or another option, but I did not find it an issue at all and slept fine. Location. It is a great location. It is super easy to get to by train from the airport and is walkable to all of the places around the main areas of the city. Food, museums, etc. are all close by. Price. This hotel offers one of the best values for your money in the city if you don't wake up every time a bird chirps.
