The front desk staff was very friendly but Our room was clearly in the unrenovated portion of the building. And felt almost abandoned. Old bathroom and vanity area, doors peeling. Ancient bath fan. Very old heating /air equipment. One had to manually turn the ac/heat on and off, no modern thermostat. The outlets were too loose to hold a plug. The cable TV was terrible, constantly freezing which isn't the hotel's fault but just another annoyance. The area around the property is not landscaped and looks a little like a construction zone. All might have been acceptable had the price been less. We left a day early and were still charged for the night. The restaurant on the property is excellent tho.

The lady working at the front desk was very nice. The room was clean. The TV did not work as it only had one channel and that one channel kept freezing. There is no breakfast in the morning. For similar price points, you can find a hotel that has cable and breakfast so I suggest adding those if you want to be competitive with neighboring hotels.
