Flew in late to CLE airport and chose this hotel close by in case rental car agency was closed upon arrival. They offer a courtesy airport shuttle. We didn't need it after all but it's a nice benefit. The exterior of the building was in the process of being painted so they must be making some improvements. Room was clean but in desperate need of updates. Opted for 2 queen beds. Mattresses were very firm, squeaky and uncomfortable. The bathroom had an extra long vanity, a definite plus! Bathtub/shower combo could use updating and shower pressure was horrible! So bad I had to rinse my hair on my knees under the bathtub faucet! Their free hot breakfast was very good. They offered scrambled eggs, sausage links/patties and sausage gravy over biscuits among other items. Flavored creamer for my coffee was appreciated. Bob Evans and another family restaurant were just across the street if you would prefer breakfast elsewhere. All-in-all, it needs some updates but it wasn't bad for the brief overnight stay for only $152 including fees.

I feel like a best western like some other common chains is either a hit or miss. Unfortunately this one was a miss. Building was under construction I guess. Plastic on windows and doors. I almost wondered if it was even up and running when we pulled in. Check in attendant was very pleasant. That was prob the only plus. Room was ok at best. Again, very outdated, furniture broke and lamps hanging on by a thread. Refrigerator was rusty on the outside and dented. Dressers had seen better days. And there was a hole in the ceiling in the shower. Just overall not the best condition. Maybe they should close it totally for some renovations. Funny tho how when you walked in the lobby it was a little better with glass like tile around the area and elevator. Looks like they spent money there but lacked updating or even fixing anything in the rooms. The hallways and rooms also had a bad smell. Like a musty “shut in” smell. Obviously we won’t be staying here again.
