“Great place to stay”
Great place to stay. Close to Michigan Ave. Hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Will stay here again next time I'm in Chicago.

The staff was extremely courteous. The hotel was very clean and my family and I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for family and friends.
“Fabulous experience!”
I enjoyed everything about the hotel except I would not get a room next to the elevator. It was loud through the night mainly because a group of teenagers were there as well. Other than that, it was a fabulous experience. The continental breakfast is fantastic.

Extremely reasonably priced for what you get. I can't speak highly enough about the staff at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Chicago. Each and every one of them was helpful and attentive: the valets, desk staff, concierge, breakfast room staff, housekeeping, luggage handlers. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, but rarely have I felt that I was "coming home" when I walked into a hotel lobby. The staff always greeted me as I came in and seemed genuinely happy to see me. The desk staff in particular were extremely accommodating and friendly. Kudos to Janita, Tracee, Cara and Ken who were the staff I interacted with the most. When sitting in the lobby visiting with friends, one of them came over and asked if we'd like some water! I needed to stay in Chicago for a few hours after checkout time. They of course stored my luggage, as most hotels will, but also offered to give me a pass card to use the pool and patio with a friend who was visiting. The expanded Continental Breakfast offered a large variety of options. Coffee, tea (including a selection of herbal teas!) and hot chocolate mix was available 24 hrs, served in the breakfast room. This was also a good room for groups to hang out or converse. The pool and hot tub temperatures were perfect for me and had good hours of availability. Housekeeping staff neatened up all of my stuff when cleaning the room. I was actually sad to have to leave and hope I'll have another opportunity to stay there.

perfect stay! everything very good! the breakfast was awesome and the location was very good, too! You can walk to every important building! Bars and restaurants are very close!
“Ideal Location”
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From the bellman to frontdesk and all the staff, thankyou so much for making my first visit to Chicago such a good memory. Delicious complimentry breakfast to start your day off, is certainly a nice touch. Loved the popcorn in the lobby at night. Truly a comfortable home away from home feeling.

I don't normally write reviews but this place was outstanding. We arrived at 10:00 pm the first evening and were met by a very professional and couteous front desk receptionist. Every employee went out of there way to say hi. It is a breath of fresh air to see people that enjoy what they do. The room rate along with the location can't be beat. We were given a full page list of great restaurants within six blocks the Hotel. We will be staying there again!
