The woman that got us checked in was so kind and helpful. I watched her deal with a needlessly argumentative guest (upset about having to describe the vehicle he had parked in the lot) with such grace. Every member of the staff was wonderful, but she stood out. I’m only sorry I didn’t catch her name.

Everything was clean and it was quiet.
The only thing that needs improvement is the elevators. They are very old and slow. One would think they aren't working.
We chose this Hampton for the location needing to get North of Chicago. As for pet friendly, we were unaware of the $50 fee and the $50 incidental fee. The incidental was returned but as Diamond member who stayed at a Home 2 the night before W/O fees it felt wrong. If traveling with our dog we will avoid Hamptons in the future.
I was there for four days and my room wasn’t cleaned/refreshed once. The trash piled up. One thing I like about staying in hotels is having my bed made for me everyday. That didn’t happen once. I was really disappointed. The staff was friendly though. And I guess I saved money in tips because I always tip the housekeepers about $5-8 dollars a day.
We had no hot water in am, reported to front desk at 8:10am, by 9 am still no hot water so we checked out
Also light switch by bed was dirty with old food on it
We stayed for just 1 night at this hotel - and found it perfect for our needs. It was well-located, clean, and the staff were all very friendly. It could use some updating - but overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay and would definitely stay again if back in this area.
This was the second time we stayed here because our son is in the navy and it was very nice both times. Felt safe here and was close to restaurants and shopping. Thanks
Everything was fine except the thermostat seemed to do nothing, the room was very cold and we turned on the heat on the thermostat but it never got warmer. My partner was freezing the whole night. Otherwise everything was fine.
