“Excellent accomodations in a fabulous city!!”

The hotel staff was more than courteous, the concierge service was over the top and the bell crew was always on hand and went beyond the call of duty regarding our needs. Hotel was clean, quiet, and perfectly located in the city for siteseeing. Restaurant food was fresh, delicious and not overly expensive. The management was likewise accessible and attentive. We'll be back as soon as possible!!!

“Classy hotel and convenient.”

Great location, great room, impeccable view!!!!! I stayed on the 33rd floor and had a view of the Chicago river from one window, and a view of Lake Michigan from the other. Magnificent!! Was able to see fireworks at Navy Pier. I didn't have a rental car, so parking prices were no issue. (Downtime parking is beyond ridiculous) The room was clean and had very modern decor. Check your minibar to make sure its fully stocked because I almost got charged from what a previous guest took out. My two children loved it as well. Check in wasn't until 3pm, but I was able to check in despite arriving around 9am. The key is not to call and ask if the room is available, just show up. On the phone I was told that it wasn't ready yet and wouldn't be until the afternoon, but when I got there less than 30 minutes later, it miraculously was.

Rooms were beautiful, and comfortable. Staff excellent. Concierge referred us to the best places to eat. Loved the wine bar!

“God time at the Fairmont”

Would only add that the "closet" where the toilet is should have a fan. And, the best thing about the time at the Fairmont was Gail the concierge -- what a treat.

“Great hotel, very good location.”

The hotel staff was great. The doorman was friendly, the check in counter person was very helpful, the bellhop was ok, and the people at the information desk recommended several good places to eat. Anytime you leave the hotel there are several cabs waiting, so transportation was not a problem. The hotel is slightly out of the way, but no too inconvenient. Trains are only several blocks away. The river walk and Millenium park are both two to three blocks away. The room was great, comfortable big bed, nice tv, good bathroom, and the rooms were big. Very nice place to stay.

“Will definitely return to this hotel”

Great location near Loop, Milennium Park, River north and Mag Mile. Clean and spacious room nicely appointed, large bathroom with separate shower a real plus. Staff were great and friendly. Aria restaurant and sushi bar could use a makeover. Sushi was good, if overpriced, not great. Would recommend for snacking over dinner. Nice bar area.

The Fairmont has been one of our favorite hotels since it opened. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

“Great location - great hotel”

I have stayed twice at this hotel and both times were great. The location is fabulous just off the magnificent mile so it is quite surroundings, but also very easy to get to tourist things. The hotel staff was quite helpful with checking in and even called me in the afternoon to let me know that my room was ready as we arrived quite early. I would stay there again anytime. I didn't use any of the ammenities since the weekend was really about site seeing and shopping but I would have all confidence in the Fairmont to have superior quality and service at their spas and restaurants.

“Great location near Art Institute & Millenium Park”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown area. Near many major attractions including Millenium Park, Art Institute, Buckingham Fountain and the Lake. Within walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Great service at Aria, and the best breakfast/room service I have had in a long time. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We were able to check in early at no extra charge. We were also able to get 2 adjoining rooms which worked out nice. The staff was wonderful. We'll go back!
