Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Well located. We could walk to a lot of places and public transportation was really convenient. Easy to get from and to the airport. However, a reading chair was clearly missing in the room and the staff did not arrange for us to finally get one. A rag was left in the bathroom at our arrival and clearly we could notice that the cleaning was not totally completed. Staff was not well informed to give information about nice/trendy restaurants and the best activities to do in town. But overall, it was ok and we really enjoyed our time in Chicago.

The Blake is a wonderful hotel! Our room with two queen beds was very spacious, comfortable and CLEAN! It's an easy walk to the Symphony and Art Institute.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for attending a concert at the Auditorium Theater. The staff were excellent they were welcoming and helpful with recommendations around the area. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay at the Blake Hotel again.

A clean and spacious room with all needed amenities. Courteous, friendly and attentive front desk staff and helpful bellmen. Quiet and safe neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping and downtown. Will definitely stay there again for future visits.

The location was really close to the places I wanted to see while I was in town. The staff was really accommodating and helpful. The restaurant connected to hote was really good and convenient before we had to drive back to airport. Even though i didn’t want to pay for $60 valet, it was really easy when I needed the car to take a drive. I also didn’t like the rooms windows, seems they are single pane and you get a lot of outdoor noise at night.

Clean and we loved the king size bed! We had a great dinner at Gino’s East across the road. So easy to get to the subway and wherever you wanted to go. Loved the coffee and water available in the lounge area. Close walk to Tilly’s bagels which I recommend!

Despite the unfortunate hiccup of a malfunctioning air conditioning unit and the struggle with an older window, the helpful staff at the stylish but older hotel made the stay more bearable. Their offer of a breakfast credit was a thoughtful gesture, which helped alleviate the inconvenience.

Contemporary remodel and themed in decor around past history of printing and publishing. All staff very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. We only had small issues with understanding the shower knob functions and bathroom was poorly lit. Loved the room and the view out huge windows.

I love the Blake! Took a while for The hot water in the very nice shower to come on and the toilet had some Flushing issues. But I will be back to this cozy gem.
