“Convenient and easy stay in North Eastham”
Right off rt. 6 this hotel was very easy to get to. We only stayed one night but check in and out very very easy. Everyone just seemed to be bopping in and out, simply using the hotel as a place to sleep. Breakfast was a little weak, cereal, coffee from a machine, juice, and bananas but for the overall price I thought is was great they offered any breakfast! Overall a fine place for a quick stay.
“More than what we expected!”
We were a little wary because of reviews we read on other travel web sites. We need not have worried. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The manager, Helen could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the National Seashore Visitor Center, many beaches and our friends in Eastham. The Continental breakfast was adequate, but only carbohydrates. A little peanut butter might have helped or some bananas. They were willing to take a 2 night reservation on a busy holiday weekend which was a plus. We would definitely stay there again.
“Good value place to stay in the Lower Cape”
I'm sure there are many many similar places on the Lower Cape, and this one seems to be a reasonable example. I'm sure there are better and worse ones, but we felt we received good value for money. Breakfast is adequate but not inspiring - juice and coffee are available 24 hours though which is good. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the free internet terminal in the lobby was useful. I think there is WiFi too. Good location for the Coastguards', Nauset Light, and Marconi beaches - plus the Lower Cape Visitor Centre.
“The nicest and most accommodating hotel manager on the planet!”
We stayed here for 2 nights, and whatever they lack in fancy upscale decor is more than made up for by the extreme hospitality. It was a very comfortable and incredibly affordable option, and in many years of traveling, we have NEVER met a nicer or more genuinely sweet and welcoming hotel manager than Helen. Whenever we are going to be staying anywhere near the outer Cape Cod area again, we will DEFINITELY go back!
“Charming and Quaint”
The Captains Quarters was a beautiful and friendly stay only 20 mins from the cape and a brief walk to the beach. The staff was welcoming and convivial. The room was recently decorated and extremely clean. For its location and amenities the price was very economical. I will definitely go back!
“Fit for a captain”
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and good service. Being next to the bike path was a plus. We only used the pool once but it was a nice amenity. Some variety on the breakfast buffet would have been more pleasant. Lots of activity there; tennis courts, pool, basketball hoop, bbq grill, next to bike path. Rooms were in little 4 plexes which keep it fairly quiet at night.Rooms were clean and updated. I would stay there again.
“served its purpose”
the event we were attending was actually 20 miles away in Provincetown so we had a nice little drive back and forth to hotel. the accommodations were just fine for the price. we had to go search for clean towels but that's because we left our room way after the designated cleaning time and I guess they just didn't get around to coming back to service the room; this would be my only complaint! Otherwise, stay was fine
“Good deal for the money”
Captains Quarters Motel & Conference Center is a budget motel. The rooms were recently painted with new carpeting and were clean & comfortable. The Motel is conveniently located in the center of the outer Cape and makes it a good location traveling up to Provincetown or down to Chatham. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The included breakfast was simple consisting of cereals, toast, muffins, fruit, coffee, and juice. For the price of the room it was a good deal. If you are just using this motel as a base of operations for daily trips, it will fit the bill.

“A Quiet Stay”
Everything was fine for a good night's sleep. I used a third pillow as they were not very fluffy. The room itself was clean each day and I left a note for them to leave a light on for my bird while I was out and they did do this. This was appreciated because other places have left my bird in the dark. The ac worked well and was not noisy. The room was quiet although there were neighbors on both sides. Breakfast was nothing to write home about so I went out to a restaurant about two miles down the road where the price was reasonable and service and food were excellent. It was a good vacation.
