amazing views, amazing service, but tip is expected, peer pressure to tip, and charge for anything, like sitting by the pool or sitting in the beds, room service food is 100/10

The property was very nice and had great pool and beach amenities without being overcrowded. The servers in the bars, restaurants and by the pool were outstanding. The front desk people were rude and hard to deal with and our room was not ready at check in time.

Restaurants were mid but the whole property made up for it. The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered

Sadly everything the food is very expensive . The buffet for 1 person was $41 and if you ask for a bottle of water they tax you $10. It is ridiculous, since no one will eat for $41 breakfast (i am vegetarian as well).
It is outrageous the good prices, they didn’t even give plain coffee at least complementary. 1 cup of coffee $5. 1 non alcoholic pines colada $10. Just ridiculous. Never again i will go there.

The location is fantastic. The staff is fantastic. The room service staff and food was great. We reserved a beach view room with balcony. They parked us on the first floor in the dungeon of the building. We could here a piece of machinery our entire stay. It sounded like a distant drum, perhaps an industrial dryer. The building is run down. The hallway on the "1st Floor" aka basement didn't get vacuumed and the walls were neglected. The lodging was adequate, but we will probably go somewhere else next time.

Amazing friendly and hard working staff delivering great service. Large pools well maintained with enough seating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is well kept, modern, clean, easy to get around. Downside - restaurants, foods, snacks and drinks are very expensive and not worth the cost.

Very nice property. High end resort. Beautiful and extensive swimming pools. Picturesque beach. Excellent restaurants. Staff was extremely helpful and super friendly. Our room was great with balcony and ocean view. Definitely will return.

The hotel was gorgeous. Staff friendly and very helpful. The tour desk were able to change my sailing tour on the morning as it was raining and I wanted to wait a day for better weather.
The prices for food and beverages was expensive. Considering this cost the same as an all inclusive, but with no inclusions I expected more reasonable prices to drink and eat in.
The store sold a small beer and chips $20 should be more like $4. That’s a step mark up.
The beach and pools were stunning. I’d go back, but may look more closely at staying at an all inclusive to save the hip pocket.

This resort was an amazing experience for me and my wife. The staff is friendly and attended to our every need. The beach cabanas were the highlight of our stay, with incredible service in an ideal beach location.
Gustinos Italian restaurant was incredible. Quality Italian food with a friendly, attentive staff.
My wife and I had thought of visiting a different country for our next vacation, but JW Marriott is tempting us to spend our next trip back in Cancun!

I booked an ocean view room and they put me down on floor 1 under the lobby!! The bed my friend stayed in had bodily fluid stains and blood stains on it. The hotel did nothing about that. The food was horrible!! There were no chairs to get at pool or beach by 8am!! People put there towels down in the morning and never showed back up for the chairs. Horrible weekend getaway

HONESTLY one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a resort in Cancun! Some of the staff were very rude to me and my fiancé and unaccommodating! I waited over 10 hrs for some amenities including room service for fresh towels, robes and for someone to help help fix our phone. after freshly proposing to my fiancé by the ocean and going back to the resort to have some celebratory drinks, I was ignored and told at the club 91 lounge that we could have only beer to drink because we looked intoxicated which was total BS as we didn’t consume any alcohol that day! Made us feel very uncomfortable and we didn’t spend must time going back in there after the incident so went off the resort to eat and drink! What was suppose to be a very special time ended up turning into a disaster!
