It was a breath of fresh air . The view was amazing the man at the office was so nice to me as a single woman traveller thank you for the Pringles! Not cannibus friendly which is okay wuick drive or min walk to near by park :) Rooms were clean location was perfect I will be back!

No faucette on tub, had to fill with shower to bath - 30 minutes , also had to use shower to fill kettle. Keurig coffe thing - single cup, too much moop, not good coffee. Can hear peop[le next door talk, snore, fart,....some sound proofing would be good. real tight parking. FD person was nice, happy. OK location.

I would definitely stay there again. It's a charming, serene suite with a exceptional view.. The management and staff were friendly and very understanding. have told many friends about this quaint little place.

Got in later in the night ,check in was fast and easy .Upon entering my room I was more then happy with my choice ,room 32 on the top floor has everything you need .The view from the balcony is amazing ,even got to see some seals while enjoying breakfast out there.The main road is a little busy but they supplied a fan that drowns out the noise of the cars .Place is super clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Ocean view outside my room. Was surprised how quiet it was despite being on the main road. Was running late for check-in due to ferry delay, called motel and they waited for to to arrive before closing front desk.

The proprietor was so friendly and sweet upon our arrival. The location of our small room was great. Right on the water. However, we booked a small room with one double bed. The issue was that even though there was a mini kitchen area and a small bathroom, there was no place to put luggage! I do think the standard double bed room would be good for one person, but in my opinion, it’s too small for two people.

Perfect solo stay
Very cozy stay. The room was comfortable and well equipped with a gorgeous view of tbe ocean. Will definitely stay there again if i need an overnight in Campbell River.

An absolute gem
This place is an absolute gem. The rooms are clean and well maintained with plenty of tea/coffee supplies, dishes, microwave and fridge in every room (not just those with kitchen). All rooms look out over the ocean with lovely balcony or ground floor outside access. Reception are incredibly friendly and helpful. Have stayed there before and will keep going back

We are terrible because you made a reservation for the wrong date, didn't cancel or change until 10 days after the fact and expected a refund. I am not sure how you are able to rate a place you haven't stayed in, very strange.

Very overpriced ($296) for one night in what is a very average 2-3 star place. Staff was friendly though and room was clean. Nice views of the ocean too. Just think it is more worth $180ish.

Staff at front desk was excellent, very congenial, helpful and personable. VERY hot room as baseboard heating blowing hot - not good on 27 degree weather with thermostat turned to off! Bathroom looking old and tired but the view was tremendous. Lovely to sit outside on grass with morning coffee.

A room with a view: worth a lot!
This place is a little down at heel, but we loved our stay. It was made by the hotel’s position right by the water, and being able to sit outside our room with a drink and watch the sunset glow over the sea. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The best water views
We were late coming in from a late ferry and the staff waited for us to check in after closing time. That was very much appreciated. What a beautiful view! Coffee on the balcony with views of the water were the best thing about this hotel. Amazing!

Clean and Comfortable - Great Views
We were really impressed with Above Tide Motel. We rented two rooms - a balcony and a balcony 1-bedroom suite. Both had spectacular views from the second level and comfortable furniture both on the balcony and in the guestroom. The suite was well-outfitted with dishwasher, full fridge/freezer. stove, microwave, coffee pot, dishes etc. Very clean and while an older property the rooms have been nicely updated. Friendly staff. Would recommend!

My friend and I stayed at Above Tide for a one night getaway. Enjoyed a few drinks on the balcony and watched the activity on the ocean in front of us. Saw 5 cruise ships and numerous other fishing boats and barges. Very peaceful to fall asleep listening to waves lapping and thankfully very little road noise.☺️
