The only thing we didn’t like is that it started snowing late in the evening. Therefore they started cleaning the sidewalk at 4 am. We did not feel it was next. Extremely noisy

Dirtiest place I've stayed in years.
The apt wasn't cleaned properly. Floors weren't washed, carpet was disgusting. Need looked like it had been slept in so I pulled back the sheets and found at least 15 long, dark hairs. Hair in both bathrooms, old coffee in maker which was so gross. Bathmats had crusty toothpaste on them. Urine on the back is toulet.I had to wash sheets, towels, etc at 1am so I could feel comfortable sleeping in the bed.

This is an apartment building- which I was aware of… photo’s of valid government ID with selfie needed for each person staying -Asked numerous times. Vehicle information sent numerous times. $500 deposit per person paid prior to stay or no access code to get in building. Still had problems as the wrong code was emailed to us. If you breath too loud DD not refunded… Never again!

The requirements for this procedure are stated on the listing page and sent personally after the reservation confirmation. Our team sent you a notification to send an ID for the check-in, and on the next day, since we did not receive anything, reminded you. Regarding the car, you did not provide full information and our support member had to ask questions to fill in the blanks. After looking at your reservation details, the damage deposit was refunded on the 7th work day after your check-out.Regards, Kevin. Globalstay team.

We enjoyed the views from our suite and the location was very convenient. The condition of the unit left much to be desired. The furnace air filter was extremely dirty, as was the cupboard it was in. The carpet must have been original to the unit when it was built and was very worn and not clean. The kitchen was extremely unclean: the oven looked as though it had never been cleaned and the stove top had a burnt on crust around each burner. Counter tops felt greasy and there was no lighting in the corner where the sink is. I could go on, but this will give you an idea.

The property was amazing but there were some dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a broken glass in the cupboard which could have been dangerous

They took 500$ from the deposit and charged me 90$ with a explanation that their carpet got dirty and needs deep cleaning and even send me a picture of it and you won’t believe that there wasn’t even a single mark and might be before from our stay but they put it on me…and who charges 90$ for a carpet cleaning that might hardly cost the same

Hello Razan. The rules of accommodation and conditions were discussed with you before check-in. You have agreed to these conditions and we have provided you with access to a cleaned and ready-to-move apartment. But unfortunately, after check-out stains were found on the carpet that required deep cleaning, which is not free of charge. The cost of deep cleaning was deducted from your deposit, in accordance with the terms of the deposit, which again you agreed to before checking-in.

Was a great place to stay easy access to McCleod Trail and underground parking was nice. Easy walking to 17th and downtown, some stores available within the block. Was a quiet building and apartment is well stocked and comfortable.

Book a real hotel instead
Good location. Convenient layout for people looking for longer term stays. Beds were not comfortable and pillows were awful. Lots of clean linens and towels. Way more convenient to just stay at a hotel; there were so many steps to check-in, emails with rules and “must do’s”l, extra paying of $500 deposit, having to enter/exit several times with bags because the elevator doesn’t go down to the parking level in the parkade, so you have to take stairs or walk around several loops. Say yourself the hassle and book a real hotel.

The property itself was gorgeous; but the communication was terrible and unprofessional. We did not receive our check in information until the last minute (after multiple phone calls). They also state that is sleeps 4, we had 4 people and then received a notice that there would be a $20/person charge for two people. This wasn’t stated when booking.

Mathew was not staying with us, we asked him to pay the damage deposit (this policy mentioned in our listing and you can see this before reservation) and answer on our questions regarding covid-19 which is very important in current situation. He never answered on questions and did not pay the deposit, so we was not able to send him check-in instructions. Our team made a call to Mr. Mathew and explained all things that have to be done before check-in, but it was not done anyway. We ask Mr. Mathew and all our customers to read property rules and policy before making a reservation. Thank you !

They let us book into an apartment with a 2 year old and the building was adult only. They security at the entrance wasn't going to let us in the building or stay at the property. 4 hours after we finally got access to the apartment simply comfort texted me to say we had to move locations. We had indicatedultiple times before arrival we were twcvrling with a toddler. Overall communication with this company is bad. They will demand a $200 deposit via PayPal before sharing any info about the property with you. Check in and out is not convenient. And the property was only half cleaned with a dirty bath tub and sheets piled up on the beds. Would not recommend

When i book this property i specifically asked about the fitness facilities be open and was told they were but when i asked closer to the check-in date i was told they weren't. Not a huge deal. The apartment i had was similar to the pictures shown and the location to downtown was good BUT across the street was what seemed to be a halfway house but it wasn't the worst. At least there was underground parking. we ended up renting a car also and there wasnt the ability to use the visitor parking or reserve a 2nd stall.

The pictures of this property were VERY inaccurate, our place had almost no windows and very outdated furniture but the pictures were of floor to ceiling windows and fancy new furniture. There was no garbage bags, dirt in the sink, and dirty linens in the laundry room. the check in was smooth and communication was good. However we had an issue after we left with the company taking $50 off of our deposit without notifying us for a reason. After I noticed they informed me that we broke a doorstop, nothing was broken when we left and we were very cautious, but they were VERY shady about trying to take our money. WOULD NOT recommend staying here.

I would like to give a much better rating but given the fact that after a 13 hour treacherous drive, we arrived and according to instructions were able to enter unit, half way thru unloading our belongings we were apprehended by security for unknown reasons telling us we couldn't go to our unit. We were forced to call the police to help us resolve the situation. We were told we could stay one night out of the four I paid for, then to resolve this in morning. Our paranoids were now set. In morning I got ahold of someone at Simply Comfort and was told that this was a big mistake. Other than that, the apartment was lovely and suited all our needs. Unit was clean, well equipped with an excellent view of the city. Unfortunately, the last night of our stay, the kitchen tap which we found to be faulty to start, stopped working. We did have close, good taps, in bathroom to finish our stay. I can't help but laugh now when I tell my friends of this unusual turn of events.
