“Nice stay”
During my stay I was in 2 different rooms, both of them with plumbing problems, which were inmediately fixed. The staff are outstanding people not anxious for tips, as is usual in Egypt. The hotel needs to modernize its carpets and plumbing system. For such reasons my qualification for Sonesta is 4 stars instead of 5.

“My First Trip To Egypt”
My first trip to Egypt was a huge success, primarily due to the exceptional service and professionalism of the staff at the Sonesta hotel. I decided at the last minute to take a tour to the Pyramids, the staff arranged everything and I had a driver and guide within 30 minutes. Amazing! Excellent experience and I highly recommend the hotel. Security was excellent as well.
“Brilliant”
We had a brilliant time at Sonesta. perfect location with very easy & quick access to favourite sites. All our needs were met & staff were great & very helpful. Services within hotel were of highest quality & very good value. Would definitely go back.

Accueil et service professionnel impeccable. personnel compétent, efficace et adorable... Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel qui offre des prestations dignes d'un cinq étoiles européen. En revanche, évitez le Sofitel Le Sphinx à Gizeh, ne mériterai que 2 étoiles, et encore...
“Great Hotel”
The Sonesta is a great hotel. The location is away from Cairo which makes it nice and quiet. The area is safe and there are little shops nearby. The hotel staff were very helpfull and there were no language problems. We also had plumbing problems however, and the staff were quick to address them. We stayed on the 10th floor and enjoyed the Royal Club Lounge. The staff here were the best in all of Eygpt.
“Cairo hotel”
We stayed two nights - the first was with a tour group and we were in a suite - nice size and appointments, but the room seemed a little older. The second night we were in a regular room with king sized bed - seemed newer, very clean. Staff is very responsive. Fitness center is awesome! Lots of different types of machines, cardio and strength building. We tried only the buffet restaurant, which was very nice with excellent selection and service. Would definitely go back again
“outstand from check in to out”
This was my favorite hotel of our 18 day visit to Egypt. It is five stars by American standards. All the staff is outstanding and helpful. It is immaculate and everything works. The spa is great and free. Location convient to the airport and they have a true free shuttle service. One night we were booked to stay at Fairmont but after seeing our room and the charges for the spa went back to the sonesta. The food was really good and reasonable. I can not say enough good about this hotel.
“Top of the line”
I enjoyed the stay in the hotel much more then the museum the bed is soo comfortable but the shower or the tub is a 1 star hotel, plus i wanted a view but didn't get one!.
“I'll keep Sonesta in mind when I go back!”
The service was fast. The people were friendly. It made Cairo more enjoyable.
