“The Claridge”

If you dont want the glass/ steel feel of a modern hotel, the Claridge could be for you. It feels like a step back in time to where service was important. I have stayed twice and I love it. Its ideally placed with the revamped dock area, with its excellent bars/ restuarants a short stroll away.

“Fabulous Hotel”

The Claridge is a nice boutique hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires Microcenter neighborhood. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location central, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The concierge was most helpful in setting up dinner, plays, and soccer tickets.

“Good hotel, great value”

This hotel does not quite have all the facilities that a larger one would but its location and services (including the restaurant) are excellent. The concierge desk is particularly good. The staff knew where to go in Buenos Aires for many things and were able to get good seats for us in several shows taking place in Buenos Aires.

“Perfect small hotel”

This is my kind of hotel. A very low key 5 star boutiue hotel. Great security. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Lobby bar with piano buzzed. Food was consistently delcious. Good central location. My only gripe was that they have the old hairdryers on the wall that you used to see in Europe - no power. It takes forever to blow dry your hair.

“Excellent Hotel, Helpful Staff & Good Location”

The Claridge Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for our fist visit to Buenos Aires. The hotel facilities were very good, the included breakfast was fresh and extensive, the location was very good and in walking distance to many sites, and the wonderful staff most helpful in recommending restaurants and arranging airport transport.

“Great value, very comfortable, excellent breakfast”

The Claridge turned out to be an excellent value -- very clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. The buffet breakfast was included. The hotel was right next to the pedestrian-only shopping on Florida and within walking distance of much else. Taxis to La Boca, San Telmo and Recoleta Cemetery, etc. are cheap.

“Can't wait to go back”

I highly recommend the Claridge Hotel in Buenos Aires. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was fantastic. The front desk was always available for assistance, and they were very polite and friendly. The room was very nice but the bathroom was a little tight. The dinning area was very nice at the hotel and the food was good. The city is very safe at night, especially the Puerto Madero area, which has many great restaurants to choose from (try Puerto Cristal). Lost of great shopping areas right by the Hotel. The hotel booked a Tango show for us and it was wonderful. I would absolutely stay at the Claridge again.
