The Renaissance Bordeaux is a great hotel. Easy waking distance from the waterfront, close to shopping, nice restaurant and pool. Rooms very comfortable and nicely appointed! Can't go wrong for the price !
Check-in process was easy, quick and great customer service. Room was good, but you could hear next door voices.
What surprised me when I checked out the front desk asked to pay the full amount of stay. I have to Explained to her that was prepaid/paid. The little attitude was not comfortable. The fact she didn’t say sorry that she was wrong.

After weeks of often dubious French hotels, this place was a breath of fresh air. Modern. Beautiful. Spacious. Everything I could ask for in a hotel.
Highly recommended - IF you have reason to be away from or don’t mind a short commute (tram or water taxi both a 4min walk) to Bordeaux center.

Great location with easy access to the center with the tramway, the pool and restaurant/bar are great and provide a fantastic rooftop experience and the staff was very nice. The room equipment is brand new and high quality. Excellent experience overall.

Lovely hotel in the regenerated part of Bordeaux by the old docks. Fantastic transport links to the centre and other areas. Lovely interior with sense of peace and space.
The breakfast buffet was generous but we only had it once as we're vegans and it's much better value for veggies and omnivores.

We chose this hotel for its location that is away from the Bordeaux city center's hustle and bustle, yet not too far away. Tram stop is about 5 min walk. Take Red line to Pessac to go to city center (about 20 min tram ride).
The hotel is next to La Cité du Vin. And parking is also right next door which is a big convenience if you come by a car. The hotel validates the parking ticket for a discount (Eu15/day). Also next door: Les Halles Bacalan, a big food court!
We had a Gallery room which have a panoramic view of the river and La Cité du Vin.

Having Les Halles Bacalan next door is convenient, but between 2 tram stations is not quite. The bathroom is good with a proper shower unit (but water still leaks out at the bottom door hinge). Overall an enjoyable stay.

There was indeed a water leak in our lobby due to heavy rains. We immediatly took care of this issue that is now corrected moving forward.
Our location in the lively "Bassins à Flots" area, right next to the most visited museums of Bordeaux, allows our guests to reach downtown bordeaux in less than 10 minutes with the tramway and I am so sorry that you did not fully enjoy it.
I do hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back to turn your next stay into a memorable experience.

Love this exciting new property. It is located in a great are that is close to La Cit du Vin and a vibrant food hall and market. The rooms are beautiful! The roof top restaurant and bar are excellent!

Des prestations à la hauteur. Un endroit agréable.
Piscine ok. Manque peut-être un sauna en ce qui me concerne.
Apres un peu plus de deux ans d'activité certaines moquettes dans les parties communes ont souffert, a changer pour ne pas donner une impression de laisser-aller.
Dans les chambres on se sent bien et il y a une recherche au niveau déco et matériaux.
Personnel agréable et serviable sauf les femmes de chambres aux etages qui ne savent pas répondre quand on leur dit bonjour... ça m'est arrivé avec 4 personnes differentes, c'est dommage.
Petit déjeuner parfait et complet avec une vue au top.

Mon mari a été obligé de détartrer le pommeau de douche manuellement car l eau coulait mal. Il voyage partout dans le monde et ce n est pas du standing de cet hôtel.
Et la piscine est sombre et pas de lumière dans l eau et nous nous sommes cognés à plusieurs reprise vers l escalier et les bancs sous l’eau.l eau était froide ainsi que la température de la pièce. On se faisait une joie de venir pour Noël : quelle déception pour Noël
