“Bologna jewel.”
The Savoia Hotel was extremely quaint and filled with helpfull staff. The Restaurant was great and the food very good. The rooms do need a bit of updating: linen, TV, carpet... But over all very nice hotel.
“Great place to stay and eat”
Really enjoyed the hotel. Expedia price was excellent. Breakfast was particularly good and the restaurant was excellent, and relatively good value. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, although they did keep one of our passports accidentally which required an extra trip back. Our room was also a little tight but not unduly for Europe. The grounds are also beautiful although rain prevented us from enjoying them fully. It took a bit longer to get in and out of the city by car than we had expected.

Très bon hôtel, confortable, service impeccable mais les informations sur le fonctionnement des services ne sont pas toujours bien communiquées aux clients : horaires du petit déjeuner passés à 9h30 au lieu de 7h au lendemain de la Saint Silvestre.

“Great location & tasty food!”
The views and setting is impressive. Truly a vacation spot. The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help out in any way. The variety of breakfast items is excellent. The hotel restaurant is also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bologna for an extended period of time.
“Beautiful hotel”
Lovely clean hotel. Bus for Bologna was a 10min journey. Bus stop was 200m from hotel. Very clean. Good facilities
“Loved it”
The room was amazing, lots of light. The restaurant was delicious too, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Never staying anywhere else when back in Bologna.
“Sunny Italian break”
This hotel suited our needs for a location as a base to visit the surrounding country side and cities. It was easy to find the hotel as it's so close to the autostrada exit. Upon arrival the check in staff were extremely helpful and spoke really good English. Our room was on the 3rd floor with Velux windows in the roof, which meant we didn't have any sort of view - the only drawback to the hotel that we experienced but as we weren't ever in the room for very long this didn't hamper our holiday. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, lots of fruit, rolls and delicious pastries. The pool & changing rooms were always clean with plenty of sun loungers to relax on, towels could be hired for 2 euros each. When we had questions regarding a trip to Venice the young man on reception was able to print information from the internet for us, which answered our queries regarding parking. There is a large Coop supermarket about 5 mins drive from the hotel, plus a huge discount shoe store & other outlets for clothes, plus a few fast food restaurants for a quick & easy snack. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would happliy recommend the hotel to other travellers.
“POINT CENTRAL AUTOUR DE BOLOGNA”
Hotel tranquille, personnel dévoué, bon endroit pour partir en autobus et en train en 2 heures pour les visites touristiques du nord de l'italie.
“Good hotel”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. I found the staff at reception to be helpful and tried their best to accommodate but their english was poor or they had none. The hotel is a little out of the way but if you have a car its not a problem but the bus service is good and close by.
