Came for the pool and after it was booked and ready to check in get there and they say the pool is not available and wouldn’t give a refund to get another room with a pool

This property met our needs and exceeded our expectations. It is reasonably priced and we booked the room so we could have independence from staying with relatives. Worked out perfect. Plan on utilizing this property in the future. Thanks team nicely done.

Theres no way regular cleaning staff could improve the cleanliness rating i gave. This property needs to be powerwashed. The floors and grout and showers were dusgusting . I switched rooms and created a towel path from the shower to my shoes. Even the carpet grossed me out but it might have left over willies from the shower scene.

Placed in an unclean room. And by unclean I mean covers just pulled up. Bed disheveled. Upon further exploration, to be sure it was not cleaned, discovered giant hairball in drain of bathroom and empty shampoo containers on ground of shower. Yep. True. And yep. GROSS!! NEVER EVER AGAIN FOR THIS CHAIN!! Asked for refund which I got and we left immediately.

Nicest place we stayed at in our way back to Canada from Florida. Updated, clean, very comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast. Way too much salt !!! Please tone it down!!

Room was clean although the “nooks and crannies” could use some help. The breakfast was eh- a big latte cappuccino machine with like 10 options was available but only decaf coffee in a carafe and no hot tea available. They were out. Really? Front desk people were great. Needed a key reprogrammed , no problem.

Close to highway so you do hear traffic but not horrible. The person working the breakfast was more into her phone than keeping things stocked but did jump up to help when asked. The front desk staff was wonderful and very helpful

Hotel needs lots of work. Water at sink was really hot and dripped underneath. View from window was a roof. Not even a rooftop. Some of breakfast was good some stale and bad. Will never stay again.

St.Augustine trip
We stayed here last year around the same time& really liked it. Both times were overnite stays on our way to our destination. The Plankowner Brewery is in walking distance& well worth your time to check out. Have live music on Saturday evenings . The food & drinks are good too!

I have stayed at this hotel several times its always clean. The only problem i have is if you get an odd rm. # and you need it quiet at night to sleep it the hwy. Side of the hotel. But other than that the hotel is and has always been a clean affordable friendly place. Once in a while its a bit too busy.

Terrifying experience, not solo woman friendly
Other stays have been great. 2nd night of this one was terrible. Was awoken about midnight by a man looking/sounding like he was trying to break into the room across the hall, it was incredibly loud and terrifying. He was called away by some woman by the elevators who said something I couldn’t hear. Even a baby down the hall had started crying from the ruckus. I called the front desk, and the man from the hallway answered. I said “I think someone was trying to get into the room across the hall from me,” to which he said “yeah that was me.” I said that it was very loud and very late and he again just said it was him. That was it. No apology, no brief explanation, nothing. I don’t see any reason why an employee would need to attempt to force themself into a room at midnight, or if there was a valid reason then why they can’t say more when a scared customer calls to report it.

We’ve stayed here several times and it is very nice. However, this time they charged me a $50 incidentals fee (Never charged to me before) and told me it will take 5-7 business days to take off! There is practically nothing to buy there other than a candy bar and a drink and in have never used this service. 5-7 days reversal is ridiculous.

The bed linens were not clean. I had to change the linens on the bed. The hall had a wet paint smell. Very noisy both inside and outside the building. There were teenagers cruising the parking lot as we were checking in. I told the desk clerk, but I do not think she did anything about it. We had to wait at check-in while the desk clerk finished a task she was working on and while she took 4 phone calls. She made it very clear through her actions that we were not important to her or the hotel.
