“modern comfort in a central location”
After a busy day sightseeing the Westin provides a pleasant and comfortable retreat. Breakfast price is rather steep and the circular layout meant a long march to our room. However, I would definitely return.

“The Westin Grand, Berlin, is wonderful ... for the most part.”
The location of this hotel is ideal for sight seeing in Berlin. We saw "everything" in just three days. When we checked in, there was a problem with the A/C (and it was extremely hot in Berlin), but after they tried to repair it to no avail, they immediately moved us to another room and all was well. The biggest down side is the cost of Internet service. Way too pricey! But loved everything else about The Westin Grand, Berlin.

“Berlin Westin Grand - a great place to stay”
Almost everything about the Westin Berlin was superb. I was under the impression that breakfast was included when I booked on Expedia, as my friend paid a similar rate and got breakfast, so I must say one thing, avoid breakfast at the Westin if not included, it's 29 euros. Outside of that it was superb. The location is fantastic, could walk to many things. The concierges were among the best I've ever encountered. The fitness room, especially the jacuzzi was a plus for our aching muscles, again the staff was super. The room was spacious, immaculate, modern. The only quibble was that we only got one little bar of that fabulous soap a day for 2 of us. I guess we could have asked for more, and again, this was the biggest fault I could find, so you can imagine how wonderful the hotel was. If I go back to Berlin, this would be my first choice of hotels.
“Accommodating”
We arrived several hours before check in and the hotel staff gave us immediate access to our room. This was very much appreciated and started our stay off on the right foot. Also the hotel stored our luggage without any problems. A+.

“Worth the 5 star rating”
It was great from beginning to end. Only problem was that the cold water was out for about 30 minutes but hotel staff was on it quickly. Great locaton in Mitte.
“Fantastic location”
This hotel is perfectly situated for all the main attractions in Berlin (we stayed for 4 days and didnt need to use public transport once) with the Brandenburg gate, Checkpoint Charlie and Museum insel all within 10 minutes walk from our hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and really comfortable (the beds are amazing!). The only complain would be our view from the hotel room, but this is a tiny point in view of all the pluses for this hotel.
“Best in Berlin”
Excellent quality hotel with great location. Everything you expect from a GRAND Westin. Very central location in Berlin. All the major sightseeing locations are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. Close to S-bahn train station and main train station.
