“Great example of good customer service”
I travel alot and have stayed at many hotels internationally. I recieved a warm welcom on check in and was given help with my bags to the room. The rooms were a good size and very clean .Anice selection of warm drinks to make and chocolate bar was a nice touch to the room. Flat sreen tv was great. The bathroom was lovely and the bath was nice and deep also had a good power shower.Breakfast was great.Hotel called me a Taxi when needed. Would really recommend and i am fussey.
“A decent place to stay in Reading”
I use this hotel on my business trips to Reading as it is just opposite my company offices, making it very convenient. It's also close to the Oracle Centre, and about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. The rooms are a decent size, and cleanly maintained. Some of them have coffee making facilities. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a nice Indian restaurant attached which doubles as a breakfast room in the mornings: I've tried both, and they're both good. I like staying there and will do so in future.
“Very Good Service Compare to the Price”
It is cheap hotel and the service you get is equal to the money you pay for. If you are not looking for fancy hotels I totally recommend this hotel, however there was no A/C in the room,since I staid their in winter I haven't faced any problems.
“A conveniently located and good-value hotel”
Hotel location is great - right in the centre of town. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Room price booked through Expedia was excellent value. Major down-side was the room we were give was in the first floor facing the main road. The window was not sound insulated so it was a noisy at night. Condition of hotel looked a little tired.
“Rubbish”
I should have read the other reviews before booking this hotel... The room was cramped and the fittings old, customer service was extremely poor and the whole experience very mediocre. The worst thing of all was the feeble shower, which dribbled either boiling hot or freezing cold water! I would never stay here again.
“Miserable”
This is a quaint old British hotel. There is one problem - the room had no air circulation. There is raditor heat for the winter. But the window was nailed closed and it was impossible to get any air into the room. As a result it was hot and uncomfortable.
