“Recommended”

I stay in numerous hotels in and around Heathrow and this is by far the best value for money hotel. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Best feature was a fully working gym and spa facility

“Catch22”

Brand new hotel, excellent soundproofing. Only drawback and catch22, although it says Terminal 5 hotel location when you book it on Expedia, you have to take a bus ( waiting time average : 25 minutes ) that s a paying shuttle service : 4.50pounds one way and 9.00pounds round trip. Beware before you board. And have British pounds ready, awful exchange rate onboard!

“Hilton Heathrow Airport”

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were fabulous. Check in was fast and efficient. The only issue was the location of the hotel. We arrived and were not really sure where to go so took a cab which cost 40 pounds!!! for a 10 minute ride. They should give people more guidance on how to get from the airport to the hotel. They do have a shuttle but we could not locate this when we arrived. We did take their own cab back to the airport in the morning and this was only 15 pounds (shuttle is 4.50 each person but we chose not to wait for it). Otherwise we would stay at this hotel again as the service was excellent.

“Hotel T5?”

The Hilton needs to change their name from T5 as they are not located at the terminal. You need to take a Hoppa Bus every 25mins from the terminal or expensive taxi. The Hotel is nice but I feel this can be misleading to future guests who anticipate walking to the Hilton with access from the terminal.

“Misleading location”

The hotel should not advertize as located at the terminal 5 which is totally misleading. The hotel is at leat a miles away from the airoport & there is no easy way to get there from the city of London. My Taxi driver could not figure out the location because of terminal 5 information.There is another Hilton hotel attached to terminal 4(international). I thought this Hilton hotel was the the Hilton hotel attached to the terminal at the airport when I booked via Expedia. Getting to this hotel was a night mare. I recommend this hotel if clarifing the location

“Modern, Well Equiped Hotel”

Excellent hotel close to Heathrow Terminal 5. Building and facilities were superb. The restaurant food was expensive for what it was and not of a very good standard. It was a cold weekend and the open plan restaurant/foyer was not holding heat very well, we were cold when eating. Despite the above we will use the hotel again

“Critique”

Holding a Hilton Silver card I found the hotel by and large as expected, but why were there no bathrobe or bedroom slippers? I cannot recall any other other Hilton Hotel not offering these. Breakfast was alright, but not outstanding, but this may be due to my own personal taste, likes and dislikes In all other respects the hotel was excellent

“What about latecomers??”

Would be OK, if they did not close the bar at 11.00pm. for what purports to be a high class hotel. the bars in other airport hotels are often open later than this to cater for late arrivals.

“NOT AT TERMINAL 5”

This hotel IS NOT at Terminal 5. In fact, it's a good 5 miles away and a 40-pound cab ride. Do not stay here if you are thinking that you will be at Terminal 5 as their name deceives you into thinking.

“The hilton at terminal 5 that is nowhere near terminal 5!”

"Hilton at terminal 5" is simply nowhere near terminal 5! The hotel is a 30 dollar cab ride away or a 7 dollar buss ride away from terminal 5 (and the buss does not always comes when expected!). other than that is just another 3 star, small room, boring hotel. Consequently, this is a grossly overpriced 3 star hotel! The hotel is also poorly run (it is new and this may be the reason). When we got there near midnight there was a long line of people complaining about a number of things. It would have been quite comical if my wife and I were not so tired after a 18 hour transatlantic flight! One highlight: The breakfast buffet was quite good! Also, the personnel felt so bad about everything that they were bending backwards to accomodate everyone....
