“good value for money”

hotel looks tidy from outside, marble entrance, pleasant reception staff. I was in an annexe with view of scruufy block of flats and workman's rubbish but room was clean, comfortable and had been recently decorated. Breakfast was buffet style and fine. Only real problem was that when my mobile failed i could not make international calls from the hotel and had to find a kiosk that would actually sell me a phone card (not easy) and then find out how to work the public phone (even harder) and eventually when i got through i couldnt hear the person i was phoning! Reception staff were pleasant but not exactly helpful in that respect. Apart from the phone problem, it was perfectly ok.
