A charming hotel in a good location.
A charming hotel in a good location for our stop over. But unfortunately on the night of our stay the bar was closed, and there was no mention of this when we booked.

Great hotel
We stayed in this hotel for one night during a cycling trip in the Alsace wine region. It's a pretty hotel in the centre of the town and we had a large room. The wifi could be improved, as it was a bit hit and miss.

The hotel was great for one night, tho, if you're planning to stay longer, I'd recommend to go to Obernai or any other bigger village. Barr on Easter Friday was kind of dead.

Séjour de deux nuitées. Cet établissement est idéalement situé, avec un parking privé. La chambre occupée est spacieuse et d'une propreté absolue. Un équipement complet, intégrant un canapé et un vrai poste de télévision complète la satisfaction. Le restaurant propose une offre complète de plats variés, permettant ainsi à chacun un large choix. La qualité des mets servis est également à souligner. Le sourire et la disponibilité du personnel sont le petit plus, si d'aventure il en fallait un.

Old hotel with no lift
Nice looking hotel from the outside but fairly old indside with no lift for the hotel floors. The restaurant was closed and we got a simple breakfast and not a buffet with choices. The room and bathroom was quite oldlooking. The parking space was OK just at the back of the hotel. The checkin service was not OK as we had to look for a person to check in. The hotel is situated nicely near the town center.

L'accueil a été très agréable et l'hotel ainsi que la chambre sont propres. Il n'y a pas la climatisation dans les chambres et malgré la présence d'un ventilateur, la nuit fut chaude avec les chaleurs de fin juillet.Les oreillers sont de très mauvaise qualité et la literie peu confortable. Il était précisé qu'une bouteille d'eau serait dans la chambre, mais nous ne l'avons pas eu.

Lovely place in an idyllic old village in Alsace. Great location. Nice and friendly staff. Not a good check in as we arrived in the afternoon while the hotel was closed. IT reopens at 5 pm. This information is in the reservation confirmation, but we met another couple unaware of this fact, and we sent for a walk for two hours. This had been nice to know from a direct massage like we have tried at other hotels. No wi-fi in the room.

Hôtel situé proche du centre ville, bâtisse des années 60 je pense, il y a un petit parking ( environ pour 8 0 10 voiture), malheureusement il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. La literie de la chambre est excellente, mais la salle de bain possède un look des années 80/90 mais elle est fonctionnelle. Le personnel est très aimable et à l'écoute et le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Im Gegensatz zu fast allen Hotels die wir bisher besucht habe ist hier die Rezeption erst ab 17:00 Uhr besetzt. So sollte man seine Reservierungsbestätigung aufmerksam lesen um nicht wie wir um 15:30 Uhr vor verschlossener Tür zu stehen. Das war natürlich unser eigenes Verschulden. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und sehr sauber, der einzige Kritikpunkt den ich habe ist das sehr kleine Bett. Es ist wie leider sehr oft in Frankreich nur 1,90 m lang und 1,40 m breit. Da hat man es sehr schwer, wenn man wie ich 1,93 m groß ist. Katastrophal ist allerdings dass WLAN dass in unserem Zimmer 6 praktisch nicht vorhanden war.
