I flew into Maryland so I arrived after hours. It was very difficult getting into the property. I only happen to get inside because someone happened to be leaving. And then there was someone delivering pizza so I was able to get up guest services. It was not clear or not if they would be there since I had received a message prior advising me to alert them of a late arrival which I did but got no response. Luckily someone was in the guest services room.
It would be so much more welcoming if guest services were at the reception on the first floor - visible and ready to assist. Getting upstairs by chance and walking a long mysterious-looking hallway only to by chance meet someone claiming to be from guest services was weird. It could have easily been some kids running a scam from how everything seemed.
The property itself is nice but not well kept. There are black marks all over the walls throughout the long hallways. Once you get inside the room there are also marks inside the unit on the walls and the sofa was dirty. They could use an upgrade on the towels and would have been nice if they provided extra. Also the bathroom shower was a bit odd with absolutely nowhere to store the soap or hang your wash clothes - and it was difficult to reach the towel with the towel rack behind the shower door as you open it. Nevertheless a nice modern unit with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. They just need to step up on maintenance as this new property will be a rundown soon
