"This seems most like a conference hotel. Perfectly nice, nice breakfast, nice spa and workout room, where we had very nice massages, nice staff. While the canal ends at the hotel, it is not very scenic. If we hadn't needed a king bed, an elevator and a/c, we would have looked for something more traditional near the original canals. Also, we made the mistake of thinking a canal boat ride would take us past the striped boat houses, but it doesn't. (Poor research on our part.) They are in Costa...

"Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff is courteous and helpful, and very thorough with regards to room cleanliness. My only constructive criticism is that the mattress was a bit too firm for my preference. A HUGE plus is the shower, with a long arm for more convenient cleaning and a very efficient square overhead ... well, showerhead."
