Gothic design gets a little getting used to. Theres a plaster bird mounted on a wall which is off putting! Rooms very small with poor views, but clean Breakfast excellent and included in price. Rooftop bar excellent with views of the acropolis Location excellent for getting around central Athens and theres a department store for general shopping next door. The hotel provides water and a small bottle of prosecco on arrival. All things considered, excellent value for money.

Worst hotel. Besides the first day with the amazing gentleman, the service was bad. Rooms where super claustrophobic and small. Did laundry with them and they ruined all our clothes. Including asking for extra money because the laundry mat was closed. They sent my laundry to a different laundry mat without my consent, which cost more. They never communicated this with us. They said they called our room but we notified them we weren't there, they had our details yet never called, including email and mobile number. How can a laundry mat be closed when they where meant to be doing it through the hotel? Never staying here again. Definitely don't recommend this place for anyone to stay. All you see is beggars and a mess outside. Upstairs rooftop was so crap. I'm so glad I left for a whole day to Zakynthos, staying there for three days would of given me anxiety.

A disappointing experience.
The positives - Friendly and helpful staff and a good buffet breakfast. The negatives - We booked a "superior room" as the standard rooms looked to be a little small. It appears that to provide the additional space of a superior room they just give you 2 interconnecting rooms and remove the bed from one of them. Hence we had 2 bathrooms, 2 fridges, 2 safes etc but no more room between the sides of the bed and the wall. (Friends booked a standard room and commented that it was almost impossible to store their luggage). The decor used in the rooms (black doors, black woodwork, black bathroom furniture and dark colours for other surfaces) makes the room very gloomy. Room service was a little lacking with repeated requests to provide more tea bags and wash used cups going ignored. The in room fridges rattle so much that I started to unplug them before going to bed. The hotel lifts are probably not fit for purpose. You will wait ages for a lift only to find it full when it arrives, you wait for the next one and then have the over weight alarm go off when other frustrated guests try to force their way in. The location is "interesting". It's reasonably good for seeing the city. However, one wrong turn and you are quickly in homeless junkieville. In fact, do not be surprised to find homeless people sleeping on the pavement just outside of the hotel regardless of the time of day or night. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.

This place is just amazing, not far from main attractions and just besides the subway and easy to move around! The deco in the hotel is pretty amazing… I’ve to be honest I was hesitating to book it but I don’t regret it at all!

Overall an acceptable hotel reasonably close to all the tourist attractions. Rooms are kind of small and dark, with a very different bathroom set-up to that I have ever seen before. Large breakfast buffet was included with was a nice way to start each day. Good choices for everyone's dietary needs. Roof top bar was nice with a good view and service. Pool was nice, but not heated. They have a two person hot tub as well. Area is okay.

The hotel is conveniently located. The pool was closed so they arranged daily trips to a beach for free - but when you are staying for a day - it's not working for me. The main photo of the hotel is their rooftop pool which is also why I decided to stay here and it wasn't available. Arrived at 10:30 and the room was actually delivered at 14:30 which is like 30 minutes after their check-in time. They could have done better. Made me wait in line to check in to my room and I waited for 35 minutes in line to learn that nothing was ready at around 10:30 am - there are many others checking out and also two rooms complaining about their check-ins. The hotel looks clean but the lobby is full of flies, even in my room, I had to kill three flies before I settled in. Get a god-damn air curtain for your lobby. This is 2022 and I don't ever remembering killing insects at a hotel. Even though their check-in time is 14:00 and they did very little to help me get a room earlier than that and they delivered the room at 14:30 - there were no shampoos or showers gels left in their environmentally-friendly cases. If you are so on point doing your best and still deliver the room late, make sure your cleaning ladies actually do a decent job. Over all their smaller brother Dave did a way better job. They don't deserve to be at this price range.

Best Breakfast in the world
The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast. The check in service there is no allowance to check in even a hour early. Sit and wait. Attitude of front desk is very bad, you work in the hotel you don’t own the hotel. The rooms are very very small and very dark. Maybe it’s the theme. I would stay again for the breakfast which was the best I have had in the world. Options are amazing. The pool is not quiet a pool but ok.

This hotel is perfect for some, not for others. The design can only be described in one word: SEXY. However, it is much more sexy than it is functional. The rooms are beautifully decorated but are so small (standard queen room with balcony for reference) I could just barely open my suitcase. If there were two people the suitcases would have had to stay closed the whole time. This is a party hotel! The rooftop pool and bar has an absolutely incredible view and vibe, but full on techno/trance/house music blasts all day so if you are on a high floor and jetlagged as I was, it was nearly impossible to sleep. The people next door to me came back at 5am and were talking super loud on the balcony, and when I asked them to go inside they did but the walls are so thin I could still easily hear them. This said, the staff were all absolutely wonderful! The breakfast is incredible! The location is super convenient to all attractions and right next to a metro station. If you are looking for a sexy party late night scene, look no further. If you want a quiet place to rest your head, I'd reconsider booking this hotel.
